tytanick -- are the generated addresses for coins that can be used to pay for the subscription fixed?
I was thinking of getting one my rigs to be the subscription payment rig so that process can be automated.
Please advise. Thanks
Yes every address is fixed unique for each user.
Unless coinpayments.com will bankrupt or be hacked - then you can use the same address
Yes honestly i do not like many small deposits in users account. If there is some problem then there are many calculations to be done for specific user
In short. It it visually bigger mess when deposits are every day
But ofcourse you can do it
AMD eth pill being added? I really want this!
Right now i do not plan to add it AT THIS MOMENT as this is not like ETHPill for Nvidia.
Meaning it is not what all think it is .
You cannot just run it a sit will not work in magic way like ethpill.
This is tool that changes strap of memory timining but it needs parameters what accually you want o change.
In short, it is not for average user but we need to know what can be modified and give proper timings parameters....
It is much easier to just flash bios using ready modded bios in the old fashion way.
So AT THIS point i do not expect to implement this unless more users will want it and they will know what this tool accually does.
From my current knowledge, users do not know what it does and they think that it will just optimize GPU by itself.
So implementing this at current point gives totally no point for most users.
If we will know more, parameters that are checked and it will be usefull in that way then i think i will figure something out.
Yet i completly do not know in which form.
Only think that comes to my mind is just to give user ability to enter few commands that will start when mining process is in progress.
So we just need to wait and see what how it will evolve.
Dear Sirs,
is it possible now to use any Watchdog on SMOS?
Thanks
Right now we do support only our SRR device as watchdog.
Also there is software watchdog which reboots GPU if some certain errors will appear.
We do not support other watchdog devices and as there were not much requests, we do not plan to do this right now.
We are doing mostly things that are needed by more users or things that needs to be done in backend like optimizations and ground changing things that will allow more features to be build in simpleminign dashboard.
How to solve this?
20360207 10:08:06 Wait on data is timed out, 180 seconds have passed, 0 bytes in socket remained
20360207 10:08:06 WARN: Connection with pool timed out. Trying to reconnect...
Happens often on random rigs, rig stuck at this and not hashing until I reload miner.
Thanks!
It seems like miner program problem or pool problem or connection problem.
Can you ask around on chat.simplemining.net ? meaby some of my three agents know then answer ?
