Does anyone know if it is possible to mine BTC with the GPU mining rig (AMD cards) and which algo to use in SimpleMining? I'd like to try my luck for a while  Smiley

gminer 1.18, im using the same line as on gminer 1.16 but it doesn't work anymore?

--algo 150_5 --server beam-eu.sparkpool.com --port 2222 --ssl 1

or

--algo 150_5 --pers Beam-PoW --server beam-eu.sparkpool.com --port 2222 --ssl 1

i get this

Starting Miner Program...
option '--algo' cannot be specified more than once.

never mind figured it out, cant add --api 3333. miner thinks its another algo.

Getting 0 GPS with grin-miner-v0.5.2, anybody had luck with this miner?

I get 4+ GPS with the same cards using gringoldminer on windows

Console is showing "mining cuck(at)oo" which is the asic oriented version if I am not mistaken. Should be mining cuckaroo29 which is the GPU version

I have the same problem. Before the mining this flashes on the screen quickly:

Thread 'unnamed' panicked with message:
_called `Option::unwrap()` on a `None` value_
See grin.log for further details.

In included distribution config there is a comment near cuda cuckaroo meaning:
# currently requires 7GB+ GPU memory

Our test enviroment:
GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, 11178 MiB VRAM
Jan 14 10:49:57.090 INFO Mining: Cuck(at)oo at 4.364067038336509 gps (graphs per second)

Why there is Cuck(at)oo, not Cuckaroo? I dont know. Maeby some error in code?
I remove all of the plugins except the one that is in config file: plugin_name = "cuckaroo_cuda_29"
and miner still writing cuckatoo Smiley

When I remove all of the plugins, the miner doesn't start at all.

p106 with Gminer working for minute/two and then drop hashrate to 1sol/s per card. Don't know if it's Gminer or Linux bug.

Tytanick, is there a fix for this bug? I asked both on gMiner thread and here, but no respond.
Similar thing was year ago with 2Mhs Ethash bug if I remember...

Same result. Even i add new group.

No miner in disk cache. Downloading...
ERROR: No miner in repository. http://download.simplemining.net/miners/cryptodredge-v0.16.1-cuda9.2.tar.gz.md5

Edit :  it may be about my firewall's keyword filter.   i'll try tomorrow again
I was add "cryptodredge"  word as black list in my firewall  because  miner connect   https://cryptodredge.org:50443  and  send some  TCP packets

Here is subject   about  this  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4807821.msg49117320#msg49117320

Some news… not for everyone but still….
We are implementing discount system.
Using our service you also get SUPPORT help via out chat (instant help) and also email.
If you have more than 50+ rigs then you will love this announcement.
We are currently implementing discounts for clients with bigger number of rigs.
50+ rigs = 10% discount
100+ rigs = 20% discount
250+ rigs = 30% discount
500+ rigs = 40% discount
1000+ rigs = 50% discount (thats 1$ per rig per month only !)
Those changes will be live very soon (in January 2019).
And they will be applied to all customers new and old ones automatically so you will not have to do anything. The system will just automatically calculate and apply proper discount level.

Some info for all users i guess Smiley
Also, please note that You customer have included support via chat.simplemining.net (instant response) and email admin@simplemining.net - so if you have any question or problem, please feel free to ask ! We are here to help you !

Please know that me (CEO) want every customer to be happy so if you have any issue, please feel free to ask Smiley

Also guys i am waiting for your feedback what is missing in simplemining, what you would like to see in next releases etc… Actually i do not get much feedback from you guys but i need it to see what you really want. I need that feedback from you guys to know that „….” its the most wanted feature and „…” thats the second most wanted feature …. etc…

So let’s hope that 2019 will be the most profitable period for all miners ! Smiley
Cya guys and i am waiting for Your feedback !
