A little worried the heat I transferred from openledger appeared on transaction list unconfirmed, and now disappeared completely for at least a day. I guess I'll wait until everything is more stable before I follow up on it.
Yeah the release is total shit. They should have waited until this thing works, now it is just disappointing and sucks. But this is what you get when you promise heaven in order to raise more money in the ICO! They were just way too greedy! And then the ccex disaster came and they showed their greedyness once more and released a total shitty and untested client. What if there are even more bugs in it and people can just transfer money from any account to another? There are bugs in it that can force a fork to happen. This is so very irresponsible and show with what kind of dickwads we have to deal here. The greedyness was shown once more when they refused to refund people even though ccex did exactly that. These guys are greedy amateurs! Shame on you heatheads!

Isn't it your fault you got Heat released? Didn't you complain to C-cex and put the wheels in motion for the two week deadline?

Even if this get fixed it is already too late because too many coins were distributed unevenly.
POS + POP forging is NOT like POW where rewards decline quickly. Stage 1 forging persists for >1 year and 1-2 days is about 0.3% of that, about 1/1000 of total rewards for 4 years.

While network stability is worked on as priority one, I personally don't see the fuss about short periods of twisted distribution being caused by necessities in the early phases. No forgers are favored intentionally, so everyone has equal chance even now however limited by technical aspects involved.

I've been forging with up to date wallet for two days but always seem to be 10-12 blocks behind the block explorer, any solution to this? Have restarted and resynced many times with no change. Is there a setting I can use to catch up so I can forge properly?
Thanks

When problem with syncing blocks after 15222 try in your conf file heat.enableHallmarkProtection=false with ip address and hallmark but no forging command or any new wellknowpeers peers list. These two were blocking me syncing.
Also start forging with command or by browser link after you are sure you ar synced and uptodate with blocks.

But still you get at nodes page you get 1 block max and than nothing, you have there reason for blacklisting (name in use ), theoreticly not being blacklisted with status false while in practice being. So change of ip might be helpfull for short time like gettin 1 fresh block.

In server version 9.7 there shouldnt be these annoying messages of all double spendings, rollbacks, unconfirmed, while these might/will be still happening (in 9.7 just in background) even when youre synced. There you get only pushed and popped blocks with data stamp.

If you find a way to get new blocks after first one f.e. changing ip share the tip.

Be sure not to autostart forging by config.
Also try with: heat.enableHallmarkProtection=false

How to select asset?
When placing a bid

looks already selected since it appears after you hit buy button on the asset in question. 0 is btc/heat
after hitting "send" it shows "not enough funds" but i have more than enough btc

maybe you don't have the heat to cover the transaction fee? I had to ask for 1-2 heat to pay for my fees. I can send 1-2 to you if that's necessary.
Ahh that is probably it!

I'll send back once I've bought!

The heat you sent my shows up but in the first tab of the wallet"Home" but there is not a check mark next to it. (Its been a few hours) not confirmed yet? The top heat value/total is still at zero...  Huh

Also try with: heat.enableHallmarkProtection=false
i do not know how to make it
Create a file heat.properties inside \conf dir.
You can learn from heat-default.properties, but don't change it (Values set by heat.properties will overwrite it).

Keeping you up to date.

Quote from: heatledger@slack today
We're aware transactions haven't been propagated today in the p2p network for some quite unusual reason, related to the issue of only a handful capable of forging. @verymuchso  has been investigating that all day and we're supposed to have more info later today
