My node can't go past block 45403 after upgrading to 0.9.8 and deleting the old blockchain. Can anything be recommended to fix this issue?

You can add to your heat.properties file some of the nodes (not blacklisted) from https://heatbrowser.com/report.html. Open the properties file and and line heat.wellKnownPeers=

After the equal mark you enter ip's. Should fix that problem.

thanks, I downloaded blockchain from there, this fixed the problem, hopefully for longer than two days Smiley

@Eliphaz

Can you make a new moderated thread so we can keep the trolls away?

Some trolls can be fun and add something to the progress of the project and challenge the devs, but this ones here are out of control and really spamming the thread.

Would be great, cause like this its annoying to keep up all the pages with their nonsense.

thanks!

As an added bonus of advice, everyone should be careful when they see devs of a coin always sign "Best regards"

It's almost as if they think in the western world everyone says "Best regards"  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Cheesy Cheesy

So what are you playing at here? That Savage and DeJerk are in fact not real and in reality some indian kids are running a scam scheme here?

Just a pattern I have noticed with coins that promise a lot and never deliver.

All the devs from those coins sign "Best regards", even the coins that are trying to be revived. The new devs of those coins sign "Best regards".

I don't know about Indian, but it sure does sound like Bollywood is behind many of these coins.

I do really doubt that my BTC withdrawal will arrive any time soon... Second attempt to withdraw BTC and it takes more than 24 hours again. This is superior as usual

A2A Exchange on https://heatwallet.com is supposed to now work better than lately. Small tests are again encouraged. Loads are auto credited after 1 confirmation, pending unloads have been paid. Missed loads from past ~week are gone through and credited in 12 hrs or so.

"Unconfirmed" balances are not becoming "confirmed". Assets are literally blocked. No usage possible.

WAIT WHAT?

There is BTC incoming? Huh? did somebody else send me some BTC? I can't believe it is the heatheads who are actually paying something out?! GUYS I AM SCARED! WHAT IS HAPPENING!?

Edit: If I could only sell the rest of my heat now, but unfortunately the balance on the left shows only 160 heat and when i want to sell it always says I have insufficient balance.

v0.9.9 is out and transactions seem to work fine, asset exchange still needs tuning. Forging still disabled.

Don't forget about the Lucky Node:

Lucky node lottery for HEAT.

This HEAT account will be used for donations: 3783387583602366138 (I changed account id because the old one had a weak passphrase)
15787342073542046562
and to send payouts to HEAT node operators. Sponsors, please send your donations and support the HEAT network.
public key: a0e7741f68a7ed7ae4b4c03dff7fe4e01a9576256d0190e16dd0b5ccc4320f60

HEAT node operators need to put the HEAT account id in the heat.myPlatform setting, example:
heat.myPlatform=1111111111111111111
if your hallmark has a positive weight, you will get extra rewards.
this is recommended too, I didn't find the numbers for incoming and outgoing peers, they are probably not implemented yet.
heat.maxNumberOfConnectedPublicPeers=500
It's better to save all custom settings in the custom settings file: conf/heat.properties
you'll need to copy this file to the conf folder each time you upgrade HEAT.

Only running the most recent version of HEAT guarantees eligibility in the program. Please perform mandatory upgrade to 0.9.8! Earlier versions are blacklisted and not rewarded.

I have a great idea! While the A2A exchange does not work atm, why not add a second market like HEAT/FIMK to the exchange? What? That would be retarded? Well that is exactly what the heatheads just did xD
