HEAT has started  attracting interest as a decentralized exchange solution. Implementing a EUR gateway would greatly help compete with WAVES. Visit https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@thecryptofiend/why-we-need-decentralised-exchanges

The heat exchange has processed almost $1,000,000 worth of volume:

https://twitter.com/heatcrypto/status/868356226496724993

Not a bad start, but I still think that we need to add at least Bittrex to the list of markets. More if possible, but at least Bittrex...

I think it would be good if we could get on Bittrex as well, but I think we should probably wait for the next wallet update first.
The microservices will add a lot of functionality to HEAT, and if the pictures we have seen are correct the UI will be updated. It could make it a lot more attractive to new users.

I agree, but don't think that getting listed on Bittrex is just paying 3btc and you are done. It is a process and I am pretty certain that it will take longer then the new update Smiley

I am sick and tired of reminding you fuckers that heat will never get listed on bittrex. Besides the fuckup by the devs to get listed anywhere and trashtalking about bittrex, you really think a coin that promised it can do 1000tps "easily" on release and can actually do 7tps will get listed anywhere? Yeah I don't think so! I will remind bittrex on that, I have not gotten my apology and am not gone yet! Fuck you HEAT scum! Here is a reminder for bittrex: There are still several severe bugs in the heat code. YOU WILL GET PROBLEMS! Bittrex you have such a fine exchange, please don't ruin it and be aware of the heatscum!

Ok, why don;t we set up a donation address with an escrow to raise the funds to get this listed on bittrex.

Why are you all so desperate to list a coin that is not complete enough to be listed on the big exchanges?

Let the devs work the major bugs out first, listing it on big exchanges at this point is just very short-sighted and could lead to the death of the coin if it fails because of a bug.

A lot of you fail to see long term benefits and instead want measely small short term profit returns.

Crypto coins is more than making profit, this is about changing a flawed system.
Listing on an exchange is a way to get more people aware of the coin. That is very important as blockchains needs lots of nodes. The other thing is that Heat is not the only coins working on scaling and blockchain pruning so the best tech may be hard to identify and may not be the deciding factor WRT which coins succeed.
There is an explosion of awareness happening right now, and those coins on large exchanges should benefit.
Listing HEAT on exchanges would be good, but awareness of HEAT and number of nodes are actually pretty good already. See the growing trend in the chart below. There are 241 HEAT nodes currently, that is comparable to NXT (a 3-year old coin listed on all the big exchanges) which has 256 nodes, see
Thanks. It is good, and you are doing a great job with your contributions to this thread

I can't no longer start my server, i get an error and it shuts down after a couple of seconds.
I think that maybe resyncing from zero might help (many messages on the App server tab talked about a "fork"). Is there a way for me to do that without losing my HEAT? Or are there other things i could try?

As long as you keep your secret phrase (the 12 word key) safe there is no way to loose your HEAT.
There seems to be a fork indeed affecting some nodes. We are working on an update.

Just a question,

ive sold first time some heat on heat exchange, on the left corner it shows the right amount of btc on home side nothing.  How its discribed i tried to send the BTC into my btc acc. by following  "choose Asset: BTC (5592059897546023466) Receiver: 9583431768758058558 and Amount: the desired cashout amount"    But when i enter BTC amount it occur "not enough fund"  even if i try to send a much smaller amount including Fees.  So? whats the process?, what did i wrong, how long ive to wait until sending BTC Asset to reciepend adress?  Thanks in advance

EDIT:  Ok, after 10 Minutes it accepted now succesfull, but now ive to wait up to 24hours? until someone manualy send real BTC to my acc?, reminds me of NXT AE with multigateways except its not a full automatic process, controled by heat audits?

It can happen if you have 0 HEAT, because you need at least 0.01 HEAT for any transaction including a BTC asset withdrawal transaction

Correct. Manual audit is a temporary solution to enable usage of the Heatwallet BTC gateway during this time while full automation / decentralisation is still under development.

Ive still more than enough Heat for any Transaction Fees, believe me. But what me concers is the Fact, that you are right now the point of failure. Arent you nervous?, you should fix your problems very fast.

All of you complaining about "more exchanges listing", see those bugs ^^^^ that need to be worked out first? This is the reason why trying to list HEAT on big exchanges is not such a good idea at the moment.

HEAT needs to have the bugs hammered out first and become highly stable, then you can talk about listing in big exchanges

mine has trouble connecting too sometimes and I see something about my peer being blacklisted or cannot connect. I fixed it before by erasing the blockchain and starting over.

Did not accept peer's blocks, back to our own fork
Peer *** version null returned error:
Found a peer with better difficulty

this kind of stuff on repeat

I think most people here are too skeptical. Yes, Waves which was HEAT's main competitor won first round, but HEAT still has potential. It can outperform Waves in other aspects (microservices) even if it can not win the asset and decentralised exchange race. Also saying that HEAT is broken and it can not be listed on exchanges is not true. It is working and all the experiments can be done on testnet. There is nothing that could stop HEAT listed on Bittrex and other exchanges. Yes, devs are not that efficient in promoting HEAT, but this startup challange with a bank is great chance for them, they might be doing exciting projects for big company and probably many of things designed for the bank can be implemented in HEAT. Of course it is bad that they didn't finish work on HEAT before moving away towards other things but try to understand their priorites. Also remember that at some point they will be given their free coins and they will be inventivised then to build market for HEAT because otherwise they will not be able to sell their HEAT. So just be patient, HEAT will rise but not anytime soon, unless the devs change their mind or the community takes control.
