I have to say that I'm impressed more than ever. All this FUD and investors have sold only for about 10 BTC on C-CEX Smiley HEAT is strong!

You idiiot! Look at the slack yourself, even proto says that the best strat at the moment is to hold it until 9.th February when they stop the buy wall, until then there is no reason to sell as it is not clear what happens until then! You know this! Stop trying to sugarcoat the situation! This helps nobody! When I see bullshit like this I feel the need to troll back...

Ooh, I hit Stewie's sweet-button Cheesy didn't know you had one. And on basis of what ethic are you giving advice on not to sugarcoat. That was the best effort ever of you, and at the same time it reach way beyond your most utterly idiotic blabber Cheesy

By the way, there is nothing to sugarcoat. I know Stewie, that if someone like you had the opportunity to sell on C-CEX, it would be dumped already. So there are not many like you.

#HEATISSTRONG

Looks like I am going to stay a while longer here. I almost wanted to go and leave HEAT behind me. This is fun talking with someone that is high on his own bathsalts he sells for FIMK and wants to sell for HEAT in the future! Looks like we need to go into full troll mode again! ^^

Judging by the blockexplorer the servers joining the game are helping it to pick up the pace. We've got a healthy product at our hands. Great job community!

And way to go C-CEX-holders. You are showing a strong will, that is the true nature of HEAT.

I sold heat I had on ccex and added it to my pile on openledger, don't want to risk being locked out of cashing out. Can't wait to try wallets and stuff. I hope there are instructions on moving coins out of open ledger.

Yes.  Treat this as a learning experience for when you get bigger.  Life is not always fairies and roses, even for a special little guy like you.  Life doesn't bail you out, and you should learn this lesson.

We all get lost sometimes, just like you.  You had ETH and wanted BTC (I know, I've been there).  Somehow, though, you found your way here and got HEAT instead.  A million miles from home and no idea where you are or how you got here.  Don't worry peaches, it'll all be okay.  Somebody will give you BTC for your HEAT one day.

Too much noise in here ...

Can someone point me to windows forging instructions, please?

I'll try.  I'm a Linux guy and this is untested, so no promises.  This relies on HEAT server, so is probably unnecessarily complex.  (Hope they churn out a fancy light client like they did with FIMK -- is a heck of a lot easier for newbies).

The heatledger server should run on Windows (read the quick notes and download from here):
https://github.com/Heat-Ledger-Ltd/heatledger/releases

Unzip it.

See the readme here (notes for java installation):
https://github.com/Heat-Ledger-Ltd/heatledger/blob/master/README.md

Add a new heat.properties file in the conf/ folder (next to heat-default.properties).  Only one line for now:
Code:
heat.apiKeyDisabled=true

Run the heat server:
bin/heatledger.bat

.....

Okay, so now you should have a running HEAT server on your windows computer.  Now use the HTTP API to start forging.

Open the following URL in a private browser window (replace THIS%20IS%20THE%20PASSPHRASE with your account passphrase.  Spaces turn into %20):

http://localhost:7733/api/v1/mining/start/THIS%20IS%20THE%20PASSPHRASE

If you get a JSON response that includes "deadline" and "hitTime", it probably worked!  If you get a JSON response that says "error", it probably didn't.

If you don't use a private browser, this URL (which includes your passphrase) will be saved in history, so be careful.
.......

Anybody: Feel free to take this, test it, clean it up, and make more accessible.

Thanks for the instructions, I get this {"deadline":1419,"hitTime":100197674} I guess it's working

I got a server running on my iMac with windows installed, but not on my laptop with WIN 10. Java re-installed. CMD-prompt just flashes and then nothing. Any advice?

C-CEX is just accumulating cheap coins with this buywall. A cheap shot with no dignity. I will never touch that exchange again.

If the buy wall doesn't fully get sold into, they will be able to sell some of the excess HEAT into their wall and keep the BTC

There is no way to withdraw from Openledger, seems like they havent converted the open.heat to heat yet?
