wow I have been away for a while and things seem to have gone sour here Well, this thread is a mess what comes to information that really matters. The fact is that HEAT has been HEATED with events positive and negative. The outcome of these are: a running launched mainnet, few server updates, one working exchange (alcurEx), probably another (C-CEX) after they have manipulated themselves a bit of coins) and a pretty healthy community with top notch investors and great know-how. Even though we are at the very beginning of everything, we are on the run

Heatledger 0.9.2 This is an optional update. But highly recommended for network stability! * Fixes a bug which made the full rescan and validation fail. Please at all times keep heat.forceScan and heat.forceValidate enabled at all times at during these early days. * Improved log output to show blocks pushed and popped again. * Raised `heat.numberOfForkConfirmations` in the default config back to 2. * Unset the `heat.apiKey` in the default config, if you want to use the restricted apis (start forging, get peers etc..) you have to set it yourself * Documented an existing feature in the config. `heat.startForging` it does exactly what it says, if you put your secret phrase there with out quotes and all on one line on startup your server will start forging with that account. A WORD OF CAUTION !! If used anyone of course knows where to look for your secret phrase. So use with caution, when balance leasing is up this can be used more responsibly. https://github.com/Heat-Ledger-Ltd/heatledger/releases/tag/v0.9.2/edit:/ I was forging without heat.apiKey and i guess it still does work. Where in the config there is that heat.startForging? I don't see any.

Is there a whale here who would like to grow the network of HEAT nodes in a similar way Megalodon contributes by sponsoring rewards to node operators in NXT? You can check details in the link in my signature, this program in NXT has been operating since July.

There is useful info in this thread about it. Instead of coming here with an opening statement containing the word 'fuck', I suggest you do a little bit of searching in this thread. It's not that many pages back.

This is POS crypto. You forge using your account and coin holdings. If i understand well enough there are some kurwa problems with some exchanges to get HEATs from. We are waiting for a proper wallet, right now we have on-line wallet plus updated server package. So if you would get your HEAT stake you could forge right away. There is enough of explaination in the thread to do it yourself or with ppl's help. So many questions so little time to answer ( ͡€ ͜ʖ ͡€)

This is a very good idea! I am also using one of the dev bonus accounts to mine blocks in order to get the network in order, I was unaware of the horrific nature of doing this in order to get a properly functioning network. I would of course donate away all my forging awards. Pretty sure the community comes up with a good cause.
One suggestion is to use the dev bonus account for this, since the community was asked to come up with a good cause. Lucky node lottery for HEAT.This HEAT account will be used for donations: 3783387583602366138 (I changed account id because the old one had a weak passphrase) 15787342073542046562and to send payouts to HEAT node operators. Sponsors, please send your donations and support the HEAT network. public key: a0e7741f68a7ed7ae4b4c03dff7fe4e01a9576256d0190e16dd0b5ccc4320f60 HEAT node operators need to put the HEAT account id in the heat.myPlatform setting, example: heat.myPlatform=1111111111111111111if your hallmark has a positive weight, you will get extra rewards. this is recommended too, I didn't find the numbers for incoming and outgoing peers, they are probably not implemented yet. heat.maxNumberOfConnectedPublicPeers=500It's better to save all custom settings in the custom settings file: conf/heat.properties you'll need to copy this file to the conf folder each time you upgrade HEAT. Only running the most recent version of HEAT guarantees eligibility in the program. Please perform mandatory upgrade to 0.9.21! Earlier versions are blacklisted and not rewarded.

Hello from alcurEX. After looking ico dispute emails sent to support@alcurex.info I have not seen any proof about scamming what we could use as an legal proof. There was two mail sent so far. About Ccex refund: Ccex may have set deadline on ico rules, which we has no. If you are alcurEX HEAT ico holder and thinking I miss some proof, let me know till on Monday. On other case I will continue integrate HEAT wallet and will start allow deposits and withdraws and release ICO BTC. After that, refunding is not possible anymore. Hoping profitable investing for every one and like to remain that crypto projects are high risky invest (but more fun and drama than with traditional financing). edit ps: There is nice buy wall on HEAT market and its growing. halibit alcurEX

Because it's a brand new account, public key is not published to the network yet. Here is its public key: 5685521efbba8ddb63fb58e337bb5bbe62b22fa5784253137e871f6d54a61d44a0e7741f68a7ed7ae4b4c03dff7fe4e01a9576256d0190e16dd0b5ccc4320f60 does the web wallet provide to enter the public key?

Not currently, however you can send to brand new accounts if you don't include a payment message.

Currently there is 58 peers on the network. I think this is a healthy number, and over time this number will probably rise as more nodes come online. The amount of blocks generated for a given stake, are substantially higher than the result of the estimate from the calculator on heatpool.xyz This is due to the calculator assuming 100% of 25 million coins are forging on the network. In reality, and as expected, only a fraction of coins held will be active. In other words: Forging profits are pretty profitable How do I know if I'm forging? I followed the instructions on this post - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1543991.msg17640079#msg17640079and I got a value for deadline and hittime and then back to the command prompt. Does this mean I'm forging? Also, on https://heatwallet.com/nodes.cgi I see "blacklisted":true against my IP. What does this mean?

"blacklisted":true now means that you should update server. Version 0.9.0 is blacklisted.

I followed the forging instructions and the server is running and supposed to be forging (got deadline and hitTime). It has been running for about 40 min and there's no change (even a marginal change...) in the balance. perhaps it is not forging or should it take more time to see any reward?
