yo what's up where's the dev been all day?
Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

We've been working all day. There was some delays that occurred due to our service providers in setting things up for fortunately we are now past that but it has cost us some time. Within the next 1-3 hours (just wrapping up some final tests) you should receive an email from us detailing steps on how to withdraw your Jewels. Upon sending this email I'll be uploading compiled releases of the wallet as well as source code onto github. Emails will be sent to the ones you registered with on Apex. If you did not register with a valid email, PM me!

Please note for an added security measure I will be signing a message at the bottom of the email from the 1MobH7Ugp1aXjiq3dRG8U31F3pBumWb4Q9 address. Additionally this will be done in the future whenever we send our automated emails. While it is not necessary you validate said signed message we always encourage you do everything possible to protect yourselves!

Also I expect someone to raise this question, the Jewels Web Portal will have 2FA support when we release the dashboard associated with it. The current method/page for withdrawal is a temporary set up.

Edit: We are also in the process of setting up a certificate for https.

Is a guild starting?

I think I collected enough gold to create one.

Edited: Yes I did, got 1 million. Any suggestion about the name?

I am a mac user, but since I am part of this community now I am actually considering buying an old PC and joining this bitcointalk guild! lol

i prefer something that is save and secure rather than pushing them to rush thing up. In the OP they even plan all these in early september. Since we are still in early september, they still have time.

@Jewel: good job on thinking ahead esp 2FA  Grin

Received! Thanks for the quick delivery on all of this  Grin

Edit: quick question, I downloaded the Mac Jewels-Qt wallet was able to withdraw my coins to it, but the options to encrypt and also backup the wallet are both grayed out. Am I missing something?

I'll take a look into this tomorrow but just a reminder your wallet need to be unlocked to stake coins.

Yes, aware of this.  Usually the Qt wallets have a checkbox option when you go to 'unlock' wallet that says 'unlock for staking only.' But I havent even gotten that far yet because the encrypt wallet option is grayed out.  Let me know when you get a chance to look into it. Thanks  Smiley

Edit: I've been messing around with it for a while now and it appears the Mac OS Jewels-Qt wallet has 0 functionality of any of the features: Backup...Export...Sign...etc and under Help the debug option is also greyed out.  Is this version of the wallet corrupt/not functional?

Can't say I'm having this problem and I'm personally running AVG. Took the time to do a scan using a service and it looks like a false flag - https://virusscan.jotti.org/en-US/filescanjob/pt25fffvvv

anyone know if this starts to stake automatically or do we have to do something after receiving the coins?

They will start automatically after they are matured (not to be confused with what we call paypal maturity in the OP).
