As stated during the sale that we do need to start the process for converting BTC to cash currency which is why we have moved it as well as safely storing the remainder. Not directly relevant to your question but I believe it shows a great deal about our character, have you ever wondered why we left 1 BTC on the address? If you recall I posted previously that a user accidentally sent us 1 BTC directly rather then to their personal Apex BTC address. We also Tweeted this at the end of the ICO seeking for this individual to come forward - https://twitter.com/JewelsCoin/status/771150410442833924

It's a bit late in terms of time, but last night I had someone reach out to me and provide proof of payment that they were the one to send this transaction - https://blockchain.info/tx/f9b3a1ede9b96d34462b3bca3ab13c51c23c283e880890bbc4e67c9bb865748f

So later tonight once this individual provides me with a BTC address we'll be refunding them since we did not count their 1 BTC as part of the Jewels distribution since they had not come forward within 24h of the ICO ending.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

How fast an exchange adds us isn't dictated by us, we can only simply give them the information they ask for. The rest is up to them. We more than welcome you to join Bittrex's slack and reach out to them personally and voice your request for Jewels to be added quicker.

Dont bother to entertain the demand of someone who just created a newbie account who obviously want to buy more coin since he missed the chance to buy more during the ico. To me better the jwl team to concentrade on bulding the web wallet and proceed as stated in your OP roadmap.

Road Map
Since there are various projects going on, we’ve broken down the road map into sections related to specific projects / tasks.

  • July 2016
    • Jewels
      • Crowdfunding Starts

    • Jewels
      • Crowdfunding Ends
      • Paypal Processor
      • Standalone (Web) Jewels Gambling Development[/li]
    • Apex
      • Integration of Jewels Gambling Games
      • Dice, Slots, etc.

These are the kind of dev teams we need to support with all our might. If we only focused on the 100% legit products, programs, coins ect and forget about just chasing some other pump for a bit f profit crypto would be stronger in general and many more wicked cool projects would get completed.

I invested in ETH and made money, WAVES, made money, JEWELS made money, NXT made money, BTC made a lot of money!
Follow me and profit.

You rock! Quick question before I go with the new wallet, before uninstalling this version, what do I do about my wallet? Do I need to send my coins to a paperwallet, uninstall this client version, then install the new version and import priv key? I want to make sure I do this properly so I dont screw myself  Grin

I don't see anywhere on the client to display the private key to the wallet (to save it), so I'm not sure what to save/backup since I haven't been able to encrypt or backup the wallet from the first place.  Sorry for the hassle Smiley

Thanks!

Back up your wallet.dat before switching to the new .dmg although simply switching to the new .dmg should continue using your old wallet, but I encourage you to back up your wallet.dat regularly for your own safety.

While not necessary to answer your question about private keys you can use,
dumpprivkey <address>
importprivkey <address>

in the console.

We have submitted our application well before the ICO ended bittrex and other exchanges. Due to their policies they requested we send them further details after the ICO ended and coin distribution had begun. In accordance with those requests we've sent them all the necessary information and are waiting on their reply to determine our next steps.

As mentioned by the official jewels account, we are limited by the exchange's response time. Having members of the growing jewels community voice their desire directly to bittrex and other exchanges that they want jewels listed can only help speed up the process and we highly encourage it.

Very strange, I just registered an account with no issues. it should always specify a reason for failure (name in use, invalid characters in user/password field, etc)
