Can't understand why price didn't restore like BTC. BTC has been dropped to 60% from local high and has been restored to 76%. But ETC has been dropped to 50% and it's still there

ETC was pumped by and overexposed to Asian markets that took a giant hit from the latest China FUD.  Live by the Bithumb, die by the Bithumb.

Decred and Monero outperformed during the crash because they basically only trade against BTC, at two US-based exchanges.

ETC also suffers from its Grayscale Investment Trust's troubling and notable exposure to Barry Silbert, who is supporting the shockingly controversial Bcash2X attack fork and concomitant toxic social engineering attacks on Core.

I expect ETC will easily survive the latest round of cryptodrama and gain antifragility for its trouble.  Still long, hloding a full bag.

I read the last few pages here and all I see is: think it will go up, undervalued, ... But why? Please enlighten me, I'd like to understand.

Only thing I see is an roadmap that hasn't been updated in ages (and where nothing is happening?) and some dapps that were announced but turned out to be either exit scams or at least abandoned.

And yet there seems to be such a positive vibe around ETC all of a sudden. Please tell me, what am I overlooking?

Hi there,

This is one of the dissapointing coins for me in terms of pricing which has a great potential. There are a lot of thins devs work on and one can easily find if he/she digs into information on the related ETC twitter accounts (there are three at the moment).

I agree the above comments on the pricing in short term, ie. 2-3 months. Besides, there are two Hard Forks ahead, I would expect a bullish market afterwards. The BTC price estimations are really aggresive for 2018. I beieve all altcoins would be affected from such market as they did in May-June bullrun.
