Hi everybody,

I've discoverd Bitcoins thanks to a report in a local TV. The idea of a cryptography-based currency is brilliant! I haven been into mining just for a few days, but I'm getting more and more dedicated, running two rigs currently. Also, being a developer and an entrepreneur I'm exploring ways to provide services to the Bitcoin community and market. My business is Czech Republic-based.

Hey everyone!  I'm a bitcoin newbie (obviously) and just signed up for the forum.  I'm a software developer (primarily Java).  I don't yet have any BTC to my name, but have been doing some pooled mining with DiabloMiner and am up to about 0.6 BTC (payout at 1.0).  :-)  I'd like to better understand the underpinnings of bitcoin, so here I am.

 Hello,
 I'm honeybadger and I don't give a shit

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4r7wHMg5Yjg

I just started getting into bitcoin. Wish I had done so when I first read about it last year. Still... I'm still excited to be getting in early on what could be a game-changing idea.

This whole bitcoin journey has been highly educational. I'm delving into IRC, gpg, ubuntu, for the first time and having a blast!

...now if I could just get come $ onto the market.

I'm gwillen. I bought most of my bitcoin at US$1, which I'm pretty happy about. :-) I briefly looked into trading bitcoin for profit, and you can find the results of that attempt in my bitcoin-otc web of trust entry, but I ultimately decided that the effort combined with the legal risk was too much for the amount of profit involved.

Note that this account was previously held by a scammer who was trying to trade on my bitcoin-otc reputation. I believe his account has been renamed to fake_gwillen.

Love the concept and idea of bitcoins, really hope all the early adopters don't destroy it and act prudently.

Also wish I had heard about and figured out bitcoins earlier...ie before it became a big media story Sad
