Hey there, been "trolling" the forums for a few days now learning and soaking in as much as I could. This is technically my second post but figured I might as well get it out of the way.

Great info here, I really hope to learn as much as Ic an about BitCoins over the next few weeks/months.

Hi all!

I'm glad to be here, I'm a software developer and electronics enthusiast with hardware experience in the Aerospace industry. I have a small mining rig but I've seen the writing on the wall for gpus.

The folks at the fpga/asic forums have dabbled with the idea of using kickstarter.com to get their boards and chips to miners quickly, it was one of the first ideas that came to me however Bitstarter might be a better solution! Personally I think it is important for the btc economy to support the individual miner as much as possible, the more miners the less likely a hostile takeover.
Regards.

Hey My name is Jason I'm a noob to this stuff on bitcoin..

I just downloaded the client yesterday, and can not fo r the life of me figure the pos out cuz I only use the computer for internet and gaming and am in no skill of programming or any of that jazz.

I think the idea of using BitCoin as an alternative to paper money is very genius and would Love for someone to show me the ropes and make me an expert on it so that I can spread and pass on the teachings to other potential users in my area.

Like I said, I have no previous programming experience nor am I a computer geek.. lol Funny because I am going to go back to college in 2012 so I can become a network administrator or AI programmer.. haven't decided which one yet but yeah..

I almost gave up on it today from the frustration of not being able to find a way to make bitcoins or even transfer some money from my bank into bitcoins. Please be patient with me though because I am a noob at this stuff and feel pretty lucky to be one of the first people in my area to even be aware of this new system of money.

If you want to contact me the best way will be to message me on aim or yahoo, I use trillian so all of my accounts are simultaneously running so it doesn't matter what program you use to contact me.

I'm new here.  Been mining for 4 weeks, currently running about 3150MHash.  Completely pissing the wife off while doing it too so that's cool.

Hello, I've been hanging around here for a while but just made an account now. I used to be a miner but the difficulty has since surpassed my hardware's speed and I decided to get into something else BTC-related. Right now I have a project I'm working on that I'll release soon enough and I hope at least a few people will be interested in what it does! Grin

Hello all, I have recently become a bitcoin supporter in light of the recent wikileaks blockade. I am keen to start buying stuff... but more importantly, I want to start offering my services ~ on silkroad.

I have done the tor thing and I went to where I presumed SR would be but alas! I am led to a forum thread that is inaccessible to me at this present newbie time.

I am a bud-connoisseur and a pirate. I help the unfortunate but not often enough. I enjoy paragliding. I enjoy BBQ's. I am single, so I love slutty girls, porn and sex-holidays. I love a wide variety of music and I appreciate a good movie. Expensive red wine. I collect and restore vintage motorbikes. I am generally interested and fascinated by most things, from pussy to maths to architecture to punk to charity to blacksmithing to NWO to weed to dry-stone-walling to rugby to choir to water-slides to non-fiction to parenting to mensa to falun dafa.

the list goes on....

I welcome any questions and I will definitely reply to any question, if this counts towards my 50 posts, you can even send stupid, inane questions.

PS: I live in Swaziland, a little country, land-locked between South Africa and Mozambique. I work all over.
