Hello.

Took me a while to figure out how to get bitcoins, but now I have some thanks the ExchB (exchangebitcoins.com).

If you are a newb like me, I'm happy to sell you some btc or show you how easy it is to get hooked up via ExcB.

Especially locals (Silicon Valley / SF Bay area), hit me up if you are interested.

Hello.  Started mining a couple of weeks ago but the $0.26/kwh here in SoCal is killing me.  That's only tier 4, I think tier 5 shoots to $0.35.  Fortunately I'm mining at work Tongue

Hello Smiley What is there to say. I got into the bit coin game because my computer sits there when I am not gaming anyway, and I don't pay for electricity. One thing lead to another and I've accumulated a handful of coins a while back. Difficulty went up though and the summer heat sucks, so I am now just sitting on my coins.

Hello Everyone,

I am brand new to the Bitcoin system and think it's very clever.

I only have a basic, small PC, and I don't know how to mine for bitcoins.

It would be great if you could send me any amount of Bitcoins to get me started, this is the only community that actually answers people's questions!

I know someone can help as your forum is extremely large.
Please donate any amount you can to: 1KoLAB5EHMjGBWBq9XMTFjmvfg9kVfKori

Thanking you in advance,

So, is mining dead? The difficulty is very high and the price is quite low compared to a few months ago.

Greetings all, I've yet to start mining, but want to start soon. I've been enjoying reading the forums and trying to become more knowledgeable as I go along. I just finished reading through the bazillion posts here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=22426.580 and my early interest seems to be FPGA/ASIC development.

I will also be buying a pair of video cards, once a good sale shows up. Roll Eyes
