Guys, am currently downloading the wallet. But i was thinking, what will happen after the rebranding? Will i need to download the wallet again and do i risk losing all my existing coins with the wallet update?

Thanks !

No need to worry about loosing any coins. After the conversion and after they release the new wallet you will be prompted to update the wallet when you open it at this time.

Want to sell 100 Antcoin's for 0.0013BTC each.  PM me if intresting  Smiley

We need another exchange for Antcoin !!!
Of course Antcoin need another exchange.

I totally agree. Additional exchanges are needed to trade also in ANC/GAS. I have so far not seen any indication as to any listing on Bittrex or Binance or any other exchange besides 19800.
With lots of ANC/GAS being generated with NEO in the future it would be more than logical to have liquid markets to trade them.
Has anybody more information on this than me?

Hi ANTSHARES enthusiast!

Maybe I can post here my concern as somehow it's slight related:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2012996.msg20056255#msg20056255

ANT is the symbol of Aragon. You are looking for ANC aka AntCoin. ANC can only be bought at the 19800 exchange in China for the moment (but Binance will most likely also add it in the future): https://www.19800.com/market/cny_anc/

Personally I prefer to buy ANS over ANC.

But on my client , it was stated as ANTCOIN. And yes ANT was used by ARAGON that's why Im confused. Here is the screenshot:

Your wallet looks a bit different to mine. I am using the Windows wallet, but if you have acquired the wallet from an official Antshares/NEO website, it should be fine I suppose (and updated NEO clients should be available soon). In my wallet the name AntCoin is also used, but the letters for that are ANC in that same wallet. My Windows wallet looks like this (not my actual wallet, but the same): https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FTiQF6oB.png&t=578&c=Y8__KSiNAQL5xA

http://docs.antshares.org/images/2017-05-17_15-15-45.jpg (Mine is in English, but this is how the 'Account' tab looks for the Windows wallet)

Thanks for answering. By the way this is thread Im talking about with that kind of wallet.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1969274.msg20057276#msg20057276

Is that related to the official ANTSHARE or ANTCOIN wallet? Thanks again for answering.

I have no clue what that is, but it does not appear to be Aragon (ANT) as what you have has a far greater coin supply. It clearly is not ANS/NEO as ANS/NEO never had any Proof of Work or Proof of Stake, but instead uses the Byzantine Fault Tolerance. There is no 'mining' AntCoins (ANC) there. AntCoins (ANC) will be distributed among holders of ANS/NEO with every completed block (every 15 seconds). ANS/NEO has dedicated bookkeeping nodes, so there is no need for everyone to continually run the system which allows faster transactions and far less energy usage.

The way to claim Antcoins (that I know of) is doing transfers of my antshares to my own wallet.
1) Copy your wallet address to the clipboard. (right click on address)
2) You go to Transaction tab, then to transfer and on recipient list you click "+" button.
3) You now have to select AntShares, paste your wallet address and the full quantity. It's like a transaction to yourself.

4) After the transaction is confirmed the AntCoins can be claimed and are added to the wallet. Go to Advanced => AntCoin Claim and collect your AntCoins.

At this point you will see both coins amount in the wallet.

Antcoins are generated to the address containing the antshares/neo. You don't need to have the wallet running.

Hope that helped and feel free to throw in a tip Grin Grin

Following, didn't know ANS had a thread in this forum!

In summary, the Intel Management Engine and its applications are a backdoor with total access to and control over the rest of the PC. The ME is a threat to freedom, security, and privacy, and the libreboot project strongly recommends avoiding it entirely. Since recent versions of it can’t be removed, this means avoiding all recent generations of Intel hardware. details https://libreboot.org/faq.html#intelme --- https://tehnoetic.com/laptops --- https://store.vikings.net/x200-ryf-certfied

The following is the conference of the 16th of June 2017 with English subtitles:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2basIRwTgs&feature=youtu.be

It is rather insightful in regards of the distribution of the 50 million locked up NEO and how they are used.

There also is a NEO conference today, but it will likely take a while before the version with English subtitles is available.

Are there any advantages or disadvantages to claiming ANC regularly or allowing the unclaimed ANC to build up? Basically, does my ANS generate ANC at the same rate whether claimed or unclaimed?

From the whitepaper, it seems the answer would be that ANS does generate ANC at same rate either way, but it doesn't specifically say this.

Generates at the same speed whether you claim them or not.

Also you can claim them ASAP or claim them in 50 years. They'll still be there and won't go missing.

Also I have  a question what will be with my ANC coins which I got in wallet having some ANS ? Now I see ANS being rebranded but I didn't see or may be miss some words about ANC. It was not planned to be added to exchanges as separate asset but was to be announced at later point but that point didn't come yet, so what next ?

Somehow I don't think you will be getting an Antshares reward for running a Primalbase signature.

How much is the fee if I will transfer my Antshares from my PC wallet to exchanges or different address? In bittrex it is 0.35 antshare to send to your address but how about the other way? Thanks
