Do we know If we are able mining through the wallet with XEON Phi co-processor

CPU mining of this coin is dead without a pool, at this time all the blocks are going to GPU miners.

And there are any instructions on how to mine on GPU , kind of noob on mining.

Thanks

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

The only instructions exist starting at around page 49/50 of this thread as the only public GPU miner that exits is from Vorksholk

However it should be noted that no one has really got any blocks with his current release since Tuesday/Wednesday that I'm aware of. The last day I mined I found 2 blocks in a 24 hour period across 3 GPU's. Prior to that I found 11 blocks in 1 day.

It is my conspiracy theory that someone else has developed a private AMD miner and they are owning all the hash power. Once you get the wallet loaded up and look at block explorer, you will understand when you look at the miner names that found those blocks.

Currently with whats available to the public, the GPU's can only mine solo, even if you have multiple in one system. Each GPU will each be mining individually.

I'm mining just fine with GTX 1070 on V4 since it got released. Found 5,6 blocks yesterday per GPU and today I'm already on 6 per GPU and still 2 hours to go for 24 h period.

Of course the rewards dropped from the first day and someone with 25 GPUs will get a lot of blocks, but the ones leaving because they can't get a block or are unlucky are just making it easier for those guys. I could also put more GPUs there to spread the blocks better, but it's not worth it yet without an exchange IMO.

I'm not sure about that. I sure have. Even with the old v3 miner I'm still getting them on a daily basis on a test rig.

Is there a good tutuorial that explains how to start mining..I download it all but i can't get it to run.
No readme..no help nothing. Thats pain in the ass sorry but so it's for the trash,

First: Read the Opening Post to understand why PascalCoin is different
Second: At the end of the Opening Post, you will find a youtube tutorial for newbies
Third: If you want to mine... use a GPU. Search in previous threads how to.

Finally: Wellcome to PascalCoin!

Would it be better to collect useful infos on the front page for everyone?
I tried to read through the things i found and the video..but it doesn't help me on the issue that the client don't ync the blockchain.

I have it running now since I wrote initially and no sync nothing - and yes the port is open.. but still say you are alone in the world ..

Code:
NodeServers Updated: 15.10.2016 23:57:47 Count: 6
Server IP:bpascal1.dynamic-dns.net:4004 Last attempt to connect: 15.10.2016 23:57:26 (Attempts: 1)
Server IP:bpascal2.dynamic-dns.net:4004 Last attempt to connect: 15.10.2016 23:57:26 (Attempts: 1)
Server IP:pascalcoin1.ddns.net:4004 Last attempt to connect: 15.10.2016 23:57:26 (Attempts: 1)
Server IP:pascalcoin1.dns1.us:4004 ** TRYING TO CONNECT ** Last attempt to connect: 15.10.2016 23:57:26 (Attempts: 1)
Server IP:pascalcoin1.dynamic-dns.net:4004 Last attempt to connect: 15.10.2016 23:57:26 (Attempts: 1)
Server IP:pascalcoin2.ddns.net:4004 Last attempt to connect: 15.10.2016 23:57:26 (Attempts: 1)

So no proper DNSSEED for this coin? Can you post the nodes and how to enter them?

I would like to mine with my 5x GTX1080 and 4 GTX1070 but since it doesn't sync the blockchain and the miner is not giving any hint on how it works ..i can't..so I drop this because other Crypto does it better.
Just hassles and problems on the first steps is a no go.

GTX 1080Ti rocks da house... seriously... this card is a beast³
Owning by now 18x GTX1080Ti :-D @serious love of efficiency

That's good to hear, first I've heard of it. Previously, people I've spoke to with rigs were experiencing same thing as me

You can mine with any CPU but it's not worth it now because of GPU mining.

The XEON Phi is 72 core processor but they would not show up beside your CPU for the Pascalcoin wallet.  While it would be amazing to see how fast it could hash blocks, I don't think it is compatible with the software.

Wow. What do you do what this monster? I used to get 1block/day with my quadcore few weeks back. Cant imagine mining with this baby earlier Smiley

these 72 core cpu's are like gpu's in design, utilizing pci express slots...maybe when time comes CPU mining won't die/phased out easily and we will have nvidia, amd, and cpu miners competing for hash... one problem, it seems pretty expensive, don't know price per hash ratio of these CPU cards though.

They used to go really cheap on Amazon but they ran out of stock and the price went back up.
These are not like GPU's, it's a 72 core/288 thread (best model) arrangement of Airmont processors.
And to use it for pascal mining it must be compiled for it specifically.
Good thing is it has AES-NI and runs x86 code so porting is not hard.
But it is not worth mining with them, 288 threads*300kh/s = 86.4MH/s, not much compared to GPU's.
That's not even factoring in the cost, these things are expensive!

Is there any documentation on RPC calls ? Is there something like getblocktemplate or getwork implemented ? We'd like to setup a pool but there is not much documentation

Dev is working on implementing RPC calls - a couple of pages back he wrote about it.

LOL.. maybe parroting will help..ANY AMD MINER OUT THERE?!

i think the problem right now is the absence of at least 1 exchange, without BTC exchange rate/value, AMD miners developers might not prioritize making GPU miner for this coin because without BTC valuation, even a miner with fees will not pay off or there will be only few miner software buyers (if miner is sold per copy)

unless they see that mining pascal coin even without an exchange (yet) will pay off or at least speculate that it will.

so in my opinion an exchange plus people buying this coin will hasten miner developing for AMD and NVIDIA (optimization)

That's true... but remember that the magic of PascalCoin is that all is absolutely new. All code is new, new concept of account, and also... in a new language.
And also, for exchange, it's difficult because they don't know this software and must make an effort to adapt their systems to the way of PascalCoin works (Accounts and SafeBox...)

I'm working hard... but I can't do everything in only 2 weeks.

I need some time, because I don't want to give to the community a unstable version. I'm working to make it crossplattform because exchanges only works with Linux. After, I'll integrate RPC calls...

But... don't worry. PascalCoin  is just 2 months old !   Wink

He/she/it has got over 50% of the total network.

I kinda wish GPU mining would be impossible .  Undecided
