Firstly, you cannot use exchanges to receive icns.
If you use some wallet such as myetherwallet. You can receive dividends in that Wallet in ETHs. Also if you decide to keep them in iconomi itself, you'll still receive dividends. Most probably, you would get dividends  in a eth online Wallet by iconomi.

Lisk used the same ICO model and we didn't see such an impact on the price. Why would it be different this time?

Lisk was build on ehterum hype and FOMO,
ICONOMI is build as company tha will pay dividends and dividends are buyer factor to invest,
ICN won’t be another altcoin with mass adoptation like Lisk suppose to be.
ICONOMI price will be linked to profits that company can provide – IMO all crypto should be like that !
ICONOMI price will be related to clients they get on board and stuff like that.
In long run 15%-50% premine doesn't matter - profits with dividends will speak for ICONOMI.

Here's a thought:

Okay, assuming some catastrophic economic meltdown happens with the debt-based Fiats, we all know that crypto's will be a huge thing. About the time fiats go sliding down fast, the value of crypto's begin to skyrocket against USD, EUR, and even CNY. There are many reasons why even gold backed fiat including BRICS nations will slide against cryptos at one time... Given that, The world will take a serious look at public blockchain wealth distribution, and start fueling the REAL frenzy; phase 2, global adoption. Corporation and banking blockchain alliances have already formed. They know they are in trouble, and in a rush to even understand and implement the technology, forming private chains. They don't want open public ledger because they can't create $ from thin air! (like they do when giving home loans in usa)
PoW, PoS... the main part being "Proof of", which in their books is a loan you owe them back with interest when they never had the $ in the first place. They can't milk you for tx fees, overdrafts, or deny you funds, or delay transfers for days letting clearing houses get a cut. They lose control, period. It scares the piss out of them, which is why alliances have formed to use the tech to at least lower costs internally between banks, again middleman screwed. Even the major clearing house itself (CHIPS) is looking at the possibility of harnessing btc to speed up legacy systems. None of this is going to save then when the value of the fiat they create is worthless. WallStreet will be scrambling for shelter... Gold sure, but being that blockchain is just ramping up, we stand a very good chance of a HUGE influx of money whenever global fiat economies begin to crumble. Then crypto-investing will become a popular thing. It's still new. Were not even at 1% global usage yet. Big things are coming. There are endless blockchain apps to develop. This is the first day of the rest of your life... The good part. You are about to make a shitload of money. All you have to do is hold on, it will be a bumpy, wild ride. Personal advice: Never convert 100% to fiat, it may bite you in the ass.

divs will no doubt go to the address holding the icn, or who would by them?
i doubt an exchange would pass them to the holder of icn, and would just treat divs as free money

Once my coins were not registered in my acc and i needed to send mall amount of coin to exchange to proof that was mine account which should receive coin.

That's a nice question. I would request devs to throw light on this.

However, we would be receiving weekly dividends.
Suppose we would receive dividends on Sunday at some particular time. Exchanges hold the currencies generally for short period  time. So think about that the given icns receive dividends at that moment when they are on exchange.

Anyhow, this could happen,. And if trade volumes are high there are chances that exchanges receive the dividends.

In my opinion, exchanges can receive dividends. As it would be very difficult for Iconomi to check whether the icns are with a person or exchange.

Some benefits I came to know are-

1. If ICNs are hacked from a iconomi wallet there are more chances that you would be compensated.

2. It would be good  for noobs. As you don't have to do anything.

3. You don't have to preserve the private keys and all that.

4. You don't have to download the blockchain.

5.  ICNs (if in Iconomi wallet) could be used to invest  in investment funds. ( This feature is not available currently. But according to some sources it would be announced later)

6. You may use iconomi founders debit card.

how can I change my ICN change my address back to ICN website account. I have set myetherwallet up and have setup the address on the ICN website. I'm just worried if they send ICN and I don't receive them. If i get them in my ICN account then I test with 1 icn and then ove rest of them. Please someone shed some light
