So finally there is no account swap possible as replied from Jani.people can ask refund who sent BTC to escrow,must provide tx hash.

Is it secure? Anyone can send any tx to the escrow. Person need PROVE the ownership of the sending address.

How does one know the hash if they do not have the address?? So Proof of name to tx is not needed.

If he knows a unique escrow address, he can track the transactions.

sure, how do you expect a complicated chain like ethereum to evolve/move on if they do not tweak the chain? it's not surprising

to me it looks like the attacker is smarter than all of them. He had identified few major flows in the protocol and decides when to start DDoSing the network (devcon2)
And ether devs are well funded. To me it looks like poor management before anything else

What's weird is that link, you know, the one linking to the comment posted by Vitalik Buterin before the attack began (hence: "anticipated")?  Yeah.  The one where he says "an increase in the gas cost of the EXP opcode is likely in HF round 2" (hence: "planned").  Right, that one.  Yeah, that contradicts everything you're saying.

The 2nd fork hasn't happened yet.  Plans can change up until the moment the 2nd HF actually happens.

Here's an example maybe you can wrap your head around:

On Monday you make plans to meet a friend at the pub on Friday.  On Tuesday you tell your friend, "hey, I'm inviting someone to come to the pub with us on Friday."  Should your friend throw a temper tantrum and claim it no longer constitutes a plan because you decided to invite someone?

The point is, this whiny FUD has no point other than to be whiny FUD.  Does it?  Of course not.

personally i was hoping that 1 billion coin will be more polished and you can start business like ICONOMI without any problems.
In 3 years we will see which platform will be better Eth,Lisk,Waves or maybe something that we don't know now.
If ETH will keep failing and forking then probably will lose 1st mover advantage.

We will see how that second attack will affect ETH.
If they will be able to start test contract then all will be ok.

Then when you sell Lisk you dump price -10%... In worst  case scenario you lose ~10-15% by conversion of assets.

Now ETH has 6m$ Volume when you buy/sell 200 000$ eth for dividends you not bounce price even.
You can sell buy ETH and have 1%-2% loss

If you hover over the "1 day ago" on Vitalik's comment a tooltip pops up telling you the timestamp in your local timezone.  Compare to that the creation date of the EXP opcode attack contract here:

If Iconomi would to move to Lisk you can bet that Lisk wouldn't have a $20M marketcap but more like $200M-$500M and the daily trading volume would also be in the millions...
