well I tried ... and have 0 balance.
1. I downloaded myetherwallet,
2. created new wallet address,
3. put address at ico.iconomi.net page,
4. confirmed it,
5. then in wallet I clicked send tokens -> custom tokens -> put 0x384e762dAd922B22a0d06f4D1229582473D2DEe6 as address -> 18 decimals -> clicked save
.... -> 0 balance

what did I do wrong?

EDIT: nevermind, I found out that my address should to be written on ICO page before distribution...

Go in you MyetherWallet link and click on "send Tokens", open your wallet with UCI/Json file or private key
then under Send Token section choose Custom token

Insert 0x384e762dAd922B22a0d06f4D1229582473D2DEe6 as Address
ICN as Token Symbol
18 as Decimal
then click save

you'd see under token balance a new token (ICN) with your balance

test-it ICN contract is deployed and values assigned at 0x384e762dAd922B22a0d06f4D1229582473D2DEe6

In Ethereum wallet go under: Contracts -> Watch Contract. Enter 0x384e762dAd922B22a0d06f4D1229582473D2DEe6 as TOKEN CONTRACT ADDRESS and the rest will happen automatically. Just click OK when fields fill up.


It will most likely be unlocked Thu 9am CET. after that you can make transactions etc.

That means you should see values in it But you won't be able to transfer ICNs.

I personally wouldn't trust anything but a desktop wallet for serious amounts.

For your  own coins... Never use something else than a desktop wallet with the private keys in your own hand.
Better would be a complete offline storaged paperwallet and only a small amount for daily use in the deaktop wallet.
That would mean maximum safety. (Don't forget things like very strong passwords etc...).

MEW (myetherwallet) can be downloaded and run completely locally. It's just as safe especially if used this way.  Several of you should stop spreading FUD when you haven't done the work to understand these technologies first.

You just recieve test icn so when they launched the icn you will then be able to transfer all your icn to which address you want

it is TEST ICN, everyone got 1 TEST icn (t-ICN) and the  .55 matches the amount after the decimal in your Iconomi account....

You can do the option 1. if you think you won't be installing any wallet on your computer. i probably will let it stay to them.

You can withdraw ICN tokens at any time after issuance.
By keeping your ICN tokens in the ICONOMI ICO wallet, no further action is required.
