Would like to be out of the newbie cage. Its a zoo in here!  Wink

I wrote a detailed technical article on BTC for Hakin9 magazine back in 2011. Been on this board too for years, although never particularly active.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Greetings,

I would like to write some guides on the forum, just like I did on http://forum.litecoin.net/index.php/topic,1711.msg10546/topicseen.html#msg10546
But I can't right now, because I don't have permission. If I did have permission, I could start contributing to the community.

Thanks,
Fuyuki

I would like access, I have done my posts and am just looking at the clock (or rather not and keep loging out) waiting for it to hit the time requirement.

I am currently mining on multiple rigs and speculating between LTC/BTC and am well past newbie stage by now. I feel as though I would be more use being able to post in the other forums and that is where the questions I have must be placed.

Many thanks.

Hello,

I would like early access to the other forums as well, please.
I am not here to ask help for any problems. I just want to contribute to interesting topics, and discus some Bitcoin philosophy.
To prove I know a thing or 2 about this Bitcoin thing and that Im serious about it;
-I have been mining for a few months, using a 2x5850 rig. Currently the PPS rate went down, but since the bitcoin rate went up so quickly, there isn't much of a difference for me compared to 3 months ago. (and btw, yes I do have free electricity Wink
-Made some small investments since January, but every time I sold, I regret it later so this time Im gonna hold on much longer.
-My current small investment is not accessible, because there was a security breach @ paymium, but its a good thing I wasn't using instawallet.
-Last week I noticed, Bitcoin made it to national television in several European countries, aswell as it did in the USA.
-I know bitcoin can be used to fund terrorists, the North-Korean government or buy drugs on SR and much more. It can, however, also be used to transfer money almost instantly to the other side of the world, without worrying about a government or bank that is controlling things.
-One of the most known BTC exchanges is MTGox, a website that was overloaded today due to too many transactions.
-You don't own bitcoin, unless you can sign them!

If I need to provide more proof, to show I am not a newbie, please let me know ASAP

Hey there! I've been enjoying joining mining pools listed on here for a while. Been mining PPC and now Bytecoin. I've always been a lurker, but now I need to ask a question of the new Bytecoin pool operator about payments from a half dozen machines not showing up anymore Sad

Hi, just joined, and I need to post on tacotime's thread, here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=150331.0 in the Alternate cryptocurrencies forum.
(I experienced an error with tacotime's LTC miner software that I am sure he will want to be aware of so it can be fixed.)

Thanks,
Azure

Hi,

I need to be allowed to post. I'm a developer who likes Bitcoin so much, and I just released an open source project named pybitpay https://pypi.python.org/pypi/pybitpay/0.1, which is a Python API for BitPay payment gateway (You can found it at Python Package Index). I'm also running a software as service website name "EZComet" http://ezcomet.com, which is a web-base realtime message pushing service. And I want to announce that my website accepts Bitcoin now (proudly).

Also, my master degree in computer science is all about cryptography, I am kind of expert, I can explain how bitcoin works, such as work of proof, hashing, encrypting, digital signature and so on.

You can reference to my blog -  http://victorlin.me

Thank you so much.

Hi

I would like out too.  I have did my 5 posts, I have sat on the forum all day, but it turns out I wasn't logged on.

It is so frustrating not being able to reply to threads. I have nothing to promote, but due to the current price I have 95% of my net worth in Bitcoins.

Hello,

I'd like to be whitelisted.  I trade BTC and LTC and have been a reader on this website for about six months since I started mining (7970's first, two BFL FPGA's now).  I'm not sure what else you would like to know.  On the side I sell secure laptops using TrueCrypt and Yubikeys, so I think I am somewhat adept at technology.  I guess that doesn't mean I'm adept at writing in forums though.  Alas.  Smiley

Hi,

I have setup a new rig with 3 7790 and I would like to share my findings in this thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=156411.0

This GPU is not bad (good power consumption and temp) but for now has seriously limited OC capabilities.

Thanks.

Ivan

Ivan, could you give us a little more insight into the 7790 setup?

What kh/s are you getting on LTC?
What mh/s are you getting on BTC?

How hot are they getting under what load, and which model 7790 did you go with?

Thanks!

Please consider this my request to be whitelisted.

I have been mining bitcoins for some time, and have just moved my rig over to litecoins.  I'm currently running a 6 x 7950 GPU miner on litecoins and have questions to ask burnside related to his pool.

Many thanks.

My name is Alec Liu. I'm a writer for Vice. Been lurking for a while, but I'm looking to message some guys on here directly. Apparently, I need to be whitelisted to utilize this feature so it would be great if you guys could hook me up!

Here are some recent pieces I have written:

I've lurked for quite a while, but unfortunately I was not wise enough
to create  btctals accoutn since the beginning. actually I was even aware
of the newb restrictions.

well I've mined for a few days back in nov '11 but my radeon 5750
was already to weak to mine properly. To be honest one reason to stop
my mining  activity was the negative trend of BTC/USD ha d at that time.
in fact btc lose groud against dollar for a few months in a row since
June 2011 (when the first bubble burst) till Jan '12. Thinking about it now
I would say I was quite short-sighted, hopefully this is not the case anymore.

Anyway just today I was able to re-activate my account @btcmine.com
pool, now I'm in the process of getting the payment for the few bucks
I have there.

I'm asking to be white-listed just because I want to bid for
a Batch 3 Avalon Pre-order, since it is a public auction
I have to be able to post on that specific thread.

The fact is that I'm running out of time, the ending date is the 6 of april.

thanks in advance
andrea

Hey guys,

Been here for what seems like a long time in terms of "bitcoin time".  Anyhow wondering if I can be released into the wild?

Requesting white listing or burning a post at least.

I have followed bitcoin for a couple of years and have read a lot about them on bitcoin sites and varous other sites, especially mises.org.

Please let me out of her...

I've been attempting to buy an Avalon rig, but can only pm.  And would like to bid on ASICminer shares, but everyone seems to prefer posts to the forum so bids can be confirmed.

So please may I get freedom?  Thanks
