Hi mods. I've been lurking for a while, and just signed up so I can bid in an auction.

Here's a story that will hopefully convince you I'm not a noob:

I actually had some bitcoins 2 years ago that I purchased via PayPal, and via Slush's mining pool. But they were stored on my SSD which failed, and I had no backups. At the time I didn't care because the price was so low, and I couldn't be bothered to set everything up again once I had fixed my PC.

The recent runup in prices has rekindled my interest (and made that SSD failure extremely expensive...) so here I am. I'm verified with Mt Gox.

I signed up so that I could post some feedback about btcquick.

Other than that, I first knew about bitcoins back when they where $5/BTC and people where wondering if they where going to fall too low and would be abandoned. (especially by SR)
It is a shame I never bought many back then (or mined when ASIC mining wasn't even in the picture), I would have made a nice profit. Even if you do not whitelist me early I'm only ~2:30 away from being free, but it never hurts to ask. lol

Can I be whitelisted?

I am trying to get into the ASIC module building, but I am not permitted to post in the Hardware Section.

I am planning to build full working modules based on the Avalon Reference Design, adapted to various outcomes or needs. Not everybody can spent the amount of money required to buy the larger units.

Whitelist me please!

I would like to write following question on the:

Bitcoin Forum > Bitcoin > Mining > Pools (Moderators: gmaxwell, MiningBuddy) > [8500 GH/s] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + UserDiff; ASIC tested

I have seen the post 6510 on the above Forum chain. There, I have seen that the guy have had the reward approximately 20 time smaller than usually. Same situation appeared also by me. Why is it so?

I need to answer a thread about my application:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=170241.0

This user never contacted me directly and a search on this forum for 'bitcoin-tx' revealed this issue to me. I queried the database and removed this transaction to restore his balance. That transaction happened with 24 hours of me taking the facebook app live and I still had not worked out all the bugs. This issue of transactions that error still showing in the history has since been fixed. I need to reply to this public forum denouncement of my software and assure people that this problem will not effect them.

I already sent the user a PM but that is not enough.

I'm a Minetest mod developer and would like to reply to this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=181099.0

I also regularly get together with a group of developer friends and we are considering working on a Bitcoin related project or two.

Thanks

Hello, I have a 250$ MP I'm trying to trade for BTC. I have an account on BTC OTC, and I've done many transactions on there. I was hoping to get in contact with the vendor freefall and use his escrow service to cash my moneypak. Thanks.

Lurker who wants to ask a question or 2 about rigs and APIs (and possibly share some of my BTCE work via github) in the 'real' sections.

Thanks

Well I didn't see a problem with the limitations (4 hours + 10 posts) but for some reason the minute counter freezes after a few minutes of me looking around the forums and winds up giving me 10 minutes of credit for an hour or so of actual browsing time.  Counting the time I've spent reading posts before I registered I'm well past the 4 hour limitation.

I'm in the process of setting up a mining rig and need a few questions answered as well as replying in posts that are similar to other questions I have in hopes of an answer, but I can't do that while this minute counter keeps cheating me out of time...

I would certainly appreciate an exit to the main boards, but if I don't sound like I deserve it then I guess I have no choice but to wait out the time.

Thanks,
Mike

I’m a long-time precious metal holder looking to diversify out of FIAT and into something a bit easier to move around then metal.
I subscribe to Free-market capitalism and want to help support a completely decentralized currency during ongoing destruction of worthless fiat.

Cheers.

Could I please get whitelisted? I'm running cgminer on 2 7970s using a locally runing p2pool as my pool. I'm trying to get merged mining working and seem to have run in to some snags. I'd like to post a few questions there.
