Yes, the data files the wallet generates are in %appdata%\omicron (full path, given C: is your windows drive and english the system language, C:\users\<yourusername>\appdata\roaming\omicron). You might have to change the options of the windows explorer to show those folders (View > Options > View > Advanced Settings > 'Hidden Files and Folders' > Mark 'Show hidden files, folders and drives' )

PS: Btw some security hint: while you're already in the options you might want to unhook 'Hide extensions of known file types' slightly down the list. It helps not to distractedly double click that email attachment or downloaded trojan if you see the file as the real, for example, invoice.pdf.exe or roadmap.doc.exe rather than just invoice.pdf and roadmap.doc. While there are more sophisticated infection methods, especially unpatched systems, still most of this ransomware & Co stuff manages to gets on the computers with the help of this small pre-set convenience option.

Thanks for the help. I am still having issues.

I even installed the wallet on a different computer at a different location on a different network.

My wallet still won't sync. It gets stuck at about 9%. Sometimes it gets past 9% but then reverts back to 9%.

Example: Yesterday! My wallet was at 56% sync and this morning it is back to 9%!

Is this a local issue with me or is this a currency wide issue?

I have deleted everything except for wallet.dat several times, I have downloaded a fresh copy of the wallet, still I get stuck at 9%.
It still gets out of sync here occasionally, probably due to connection issues, but I don't have problems resyncing afterwards. You could try to let the wallet sync with a new wallet.dat to see if that works. If it does you replace the new wallet.dat with your old one and restart the wallet with the -rescan option added.

So whats up with this coin? Is it dead the same way as DeltaCredits?

The chain is stuck, only 3 connections, my coins staked on Jun 23 and are still stuck in staking...

No news about dividends either. I find it hard to believe that a person with more or less decent trading skills was not able to recover the fund during those 3-4 months of everything blooming in crypto. Even if one trades once a month, there was big profit to be made. Most alts were 10x, some were 20x, you have to try hard to not to profit during that time. Did Gladimor just did a runner with funds?

But chain is stuck and not moving. Interesting enough, I have at least 11 free inputs, but they do not stake.

Anyone cares to open their wallet and stake this a little, so the chain doesn't end up like DCR's one?

I have given an update in the slack channel.

what happend with all the BXT BitToken traded-in for OMC?? They should get burned, cause it was hard-earned money from investors!
I also had traded-in my BXT for OMC and OMC was a loss business.

Normally and that is a general rule and policy that all the Coins from a SWAP will get burned. So Gladimor answer, where are all the BitTokens?! and what is the BurnAddress!?

I didnt work hard to get BXT on track, and you dump coins that should be burned. If that come true, I will open a Scam Report.
Thats not how honest Devs are working.

E.g.See Coin Swap Services from NovaExchange (C-cex, Bittrex are operating similar)
Quote
Disclamer;
Hosted coin swap is a paid to use service where Novaexchange is a middlehand for swapping coins to a new currency or a new blockchain. The swap is free for the end user who is swapping coins, but is paid by the community for using Novaexchange services. Each swap has it's own rules to follow please see the details in each open swap. All coins swapped will be destroyed at the end of the swap by Novaexchange to a pre-defined address.

The Swap Address shows some movement on 2017-01-07:

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/bxt/address.dws?B8QAKUztbkqTBMTWVnzuJgfqxqd3AeYjt7.htm

Trade-in for OMC will start on August 31, ending on September 3rd, 9 PM. PM me for details.

How to trade in?

1. Send your BXT to this address: B8QAKUztbkqTBMTWVnzuJgfqxqd3AeYjt7
2. Send me a message with the TXID and how many you sent.
3. Message me on September 17 with your Omicron address.
BXT reveiced from the Swap: 37,767.57743786 BXT   in 19 transactions

So you should burn  37,767.57743786 BXT   and make the official BXT Burn Address public.

"a general rule and policy" and "NovaExchange, C-cex, Bittrex are operating similar" is a very weak case for a scam accusation. Two unpopular exchanges and bittrex doing that (which I never heard earlier either) isn't "a general rule and policy". Even if it was "a general rule and policy", you shouldn't just assume it but ask for explicit confirmation. The issue is you assumed it. Your mistake.

Thats also a common practice and unspoken rule on bitcointalk respectively among "honest" Coin Developers, not just on Exchanges. These Exchanges are just an Example!(E.G.).

As described on the website http://delta.investments/, it was a swap-in. And usually swap-in coins will get burned.
Quote
OMC, 700,000 coins (7%) will be set aside for a swap-in of DeltaCredits (DCR) and BitTokens (BXT). Accordingly 1% will be used for DCR and 6% for BXT.

Gladimor, I await your reply.

You can imagine, I am not exactly happy what is happening with my OMC investment. Unfortunately, I could not deny, that there is room for a scam accusation. Because regular audits by high profile bitcoin community members were promised. Yet, even though requested audits, they don't come. There is no refutation not to at least provide a poloniex view-only (trading with withdraw disabled) API key to an auditor.

However, 700.000 OMC will bet "set aside" for DCR / BXT swap-in, means the OMC will be "set aside". It did not say "DCR / BXT are set aside". Therefore you cannot interpret "set aside" as "burned". It was a delusion of OMC investors. A transparent once, hence okay. Gladimor bought DCR / BXT, effectively with OMC investors money. Gladimor now owns these coins.

"Thats also a common practice and unspoken rule on bitcointalk" - I've never heard about it. Make a vote who heard about that. Without having this clearly written down somewhere, anyone can make up anything. New developers and coins come and go. So such specifics should not be presupposed.

Make a list of common practices and unspoken rules?

gladimor made an offer to DCR and BTC holders. "My good will: if you send me DCR / BTX, you'll get OMC." BTX was abandoned by Gladimor. Why should he have any more responsibilities for it? Unless of course he earlier promised to keep doing whatever work for BXT and broke that promise, but that wasn't your claim and that would be a separate case.

Its kind of hard to take you seriously when you spend your days as a paid spammer for Vegas, who is the biggest known lying scammer there ever was.

Ask him what happened to all the ROS coins handed to him in the swap for FLY. The coin you promote over and over again, daily.
Where is your concern for the people you try and lure into the next FLY swap? Double standards much?

Look at your avatar, XDE2. You know that was a hostile takeover by Vegas and his team right? Followed by yet another scammy swap. You know he created special wallets for himself that stake 100 times better than mindless idiots like you can right?
You think because he gives you a few free coins every week that he is your generous buddy? You really need to do some research before spouting such laughable accusations here.

Maybe I should post a detailed scam report on you and the pages of scammery I have on Vegas.

elgimpo, that's argumentum ad hominem against Cryptco. But indeed, I did also laugh about Cryptco's accusations, but still had hope that a reasonable rebuttal would be useful.

An individual decided to pump BXT from the ashes, and I used the situation for the benefit of the fund. Being that the investment fund was nearly depleted, the sale of raised BXT generated several extra BTC for Omicron. There were no clear statements citing that the BXT used for OMC was to be burned.

Moving Forward.
As there clearly are issues with the chain, we will be moving towards switching towards becoming a tokenized asset. That means either becoming an Ethereum, NXT, or Waves based asset. Also, future dividends will be paid in the coin in which our token resides on- eg; if we convert to an Ethereum based asset, dividends will start to be paid in Ethereum. Bitcoin fees have proved to be too high, and selecting a lower fee option usually results in extremely unreasonable wait times for transactions. A poll will be setup allowing the community to select which platform the future of Omicron shall rest on.

Are you registered with the OSC?

Are you aware that you are committing securities fraud?

How many people on this forum have no idea about the laws of their country?

You can't just start an investment company and accept investments without conforming to regulations.

You can and should be reported to the Canadian government and Ontario Securities Commission for what you have done. This is a serious crime.
