I'm just curious about the Blackbytes. Seems like they've no value at the moment. I've checked exchanges over & over again yet I couldn't find any one where blackbytes are tradable. So I just want to know If there's any plan to add them on exchanges?

Theres small market for them on official slack and also on ydx.slack.com.
I guess they will be more valuable soon

With blackbytes having no publically tradeable exchange, their worth is undetermined, which makes them not really feasible as a payment vehicle.

A possible solution to mitigate this would be to have some kind of built-in bytes / blackbytes gateway, with a fixed exchange rate. Users wouldn't have to use it, but this would peg the worth of a blackbyte to a byte, giving at least some hint at a possible price.
The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

yeah, if people actually will start using it for buying/selling goods and if it gets listed on some more exchanges,
it could get even top 3. blackbytes will be up too if dnm's adopt it, I even recall someone saying its cryptocurrency 3.0
because of DAG and how consensus works

Byteball is actually the true cryptocurrency 2.0. Ethereum and other similar shitcoins only flirt with the idea of being 2.0 while in reality they are all the same old same old block chain based token systems. No innovation. Turing completeness does not make a coin magically a level higher than Bitcoin and certainly there is nothing innovative about Turing completeness. The guy died in 1954 anyway. So far Turing completeness has made more people suffer than it has done any good in the smart contracts space. It's ridiculous.

competition isnt even started, byteball could have a bright future but community must start give people more reason to hold the byteball besides the distributions, like an edgeless dice site for blackbytes.

Inspired by my conversation with Aleš Janda (who is very knowledgeable in blockchain analysis and runs walletexplorer.com and chainalysis.com), there is a new rule for microtransaction-proven bitcoin addresses:

- if the address had more than 50 transactions in the last 3 days, it is rejected.  Linking by signature is still possible.

Such frequent transactions are common for exchanges and other shared wallets, and the rule prevents its customers from linking the shared address by doing a withdrawal.

This adds to the other two rules that serve the same purpose:
- if the microtransaction has more than 2 outputs, it is rejected (with the exception of Electrum 2fa transactions that have 3 outputs), because exchanges often aggregate several withdrawals into a single transaction
- if the same address was already linked before by another user, the new link is rejected and the old link is canceled.  This applies only to tx-proven addresses, and the reason for this rule is that for sufficiently popular exchanges, there will likely be more than one user who tries to cheat.

The two old rules were good enough at filtering large well known exchanges but a small number of addresses of smaller exchanges were still linked.  The new rule is to filter them too.

Simplicity is beauty

To be honest this coin has competition with Ethereum at this point because it has totally different code than any other coin. So no need to be worry about this I have very strong in it very soon it will find its own way to the moon.

great to see that being done, strenghtens the community
reading through the whitepaper I never saw a mention of hubs and relays, maybe overseen, could you elaborate their function?

I am big fan of Byteball and having all received coins from last distributions in my wallet. This is because I do believe it will turn into something really very big over the next few months. As of replacing bitcoin that will never happen because Bitcoin is symbol of trust and adoption for all digital tokens/coins. We need to focus on our project to make it successful without taking others coins as competitors.

it seems to have many useful features like multisig, conditional payments, no scaling issues, opt anonymity, tokens, smart contracts hell the client is even tor ready. Chatbots also seem a good point, one could easy create an automated decentralized market i imagine

why should anybody fork it? just for profit? i think it is too early for a fork. or are there already ideas for improvements that the devs won't or can't handle?
