No one forking Byteball yet? Such a great concept.  Grin

byteball will be top10 in the future for sure.

i want byteball replace that ripple shit.  Wink

It may happen only if big names will step in
Big names do not add any values but thay join only if something has value. Byteball is doing well without any big name and it doesn't need one.

More dice site
This can be implemented in chat, right? A Dice bot to bet against could be a very cool feature to use from within the wallet's own chat.

but such bot  must  have betting fund box. who will fill it?
For demonstration purposes it doesn't need a high bankroll, 1 MB is enough for 10k bets.

If you promise me you'll use it, I can code a dice bot next week-end  Cool
If you do, I'll test it. But only with small amounts.
It could be very good for Byteball's popularity to have a build-in casino inside the wallet. No more slow deposits, no more deposits at all, just click and go.

There is an oracle that provides random numbers, you won't need to trust the dice since the bet will be a smart-contract. Anyway I will have to limit the betted amount since my Byteball richness is limited.

Now it got easier to translate Byteball wallet into your language.
Join Crowdin and translate small text fragments in user friendly interface at https://crowdin.com/project/byteball (Crowdin is free for open source projects like Byteball).

100% Spanish translation done!  Smiley

Hope to see it approved soon
is possible to add romanian translation aswell? 2 countries from Europe have national language as romanian.  *(Romania and Rep. of Moldova.)

If you see some feature or language isn't mentioned but can be helpful for the success of the project just do it. We all know this is community project and everyone is welcomed to play his/her part as volunteer. We can push this project to real success. I already re-tweeted since it appeared first time for me.

Which is the best way to install the wallet on different devices - different computers and perhaps mobile, sharing the same account?

go add-wallet->multidevice-wallet
You can choose a multidevice-wallet that requires a signature from every devices if you're looking for maximum security, or a multidevice-wallet that requires only one signature from any device if you want an easy wallet for small expenses.

Be ready for the next distribution round!
Our Byteball distribution companion helps you.

          Is you address properly linked?
Are all your bytes on your linked address? (beware of any change addresses in your wallet!)
          How much will you receive?

And once distribution as started you can follow in near real time when bytes arrive in your wallet. Enjoy!

Who can tell me how many distribution rounds still remain? Is it true information from coinmarketcap that for today distributed 189,284 GBYTE of 1,000,000 GBYTE?

Hi guys, I have some questions.

I still don't have any GBYTE as I have recently linked my BTC addresses and hope I get some on 9 JUN.

How this will go? Will a snapshot be taken on the exact date and time no matter if right after that I move my BTC to other addresses?

Would it be possible for someone that is, for example, holding a lot of other coins, temporarily convert them to BTC, transfer to its linked wallet right before the snapshot is done, then transfer back and convert to the previous coins? Profit?

I am not even sure if it is worth the fess for all the process, but just saying.....

yep. that's how it works. better allow some time before just in case the blockchain is slow. it takes a few more hours for blackbytes to arrive but i think they're allocated at the same time.

Depends what coins you hold, if they have big swings it's quite risky. Problem is, everything is swinging crazy these days. I'd say it's safer to just buy byteball right after the distribution, that's when most people who look only for the quick cash dump.

Thx ECB.

I have linked some warm wallets to it, but I am not sure if it does make economical sense to temporarily move my trading stash to get additional GB.

I don't plan to sell now any of the GB I get but... to make sure if it does make sense or not I need some additional data:

Is it really each GB worth $337 as coinmarket says it is? I mean, if I wanted to sell it on the few exchanges that trade it atm is that the equivalent in BTC I could get? Is it right my calculation that for each 16BTC linked one GB will be rewarded?

If it is, then I guess it's worth the move. More so considering that when Polo or some other bigger exchanges add it, the price could rise higher.

https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-GBYTE

here's the main market. check the depth yourself. it's not huge. there's also sale threads in here and p2p selling in the wallet.

most people will wait for the distribution to be complete then we'll see what it's really made of.
