Target price for 1 GB is 16 BTC.
It is a point at which Byteball achieves parity with Bitcoin in terms of marketcap.

Great target, and I hope bitcoin will replace with bytebal because I boring with bitcoin always lead.
May not be a sufficient reason to meet the target  Wink

Hello.

Does someone know how to link a multisignature address to the bot? It keeps returning the following: "Only P2PKH addresses are supported". However, I've seen plenty of P2PKH addresses on the transition page: http://transition.byteball.org/
If I'm remember correctly, multisignature addresses (pay-to-script hash (P2SH) -> 3 in front) can only be linked by micropayment.
Here: http://transition.byteball.org/
I have also found no exception: All addresses with a 3 ahead are linked by tx.
In the past, I have also connected my electrum multisig wallet by micropayment. But now I use Ledger Nano S.

It seemed to me or at the last distribution, the black bytes came much later than in the previous times?
The blackbytes are an asset that runs on the DAG. I believe tony distributes them in several waves. He has enormous amounts of token to distribute. In the next distributions, the distributed volume per round will continue to rise massively.

We should really do something about the synch time though. Would it make synch faster if there were more hubs and relays? Do hubs and relays have to have public/static IP addresses?

I tried syncing a full node. It seems that most of the delay is caused by the wallet reading and writing to the local hard drive excessively. I don't know if it is possible to configure sqlite to work with a bigger memory cache or something to cut down on disk access but if so, that should help a lot.

If you sort by bitcoin address on that transition page, you will see that all the addresses that start with a '3' were linked using a transaction, not a signature.

I am perfectly aware of that. However, the main question is how do I initiate this? The bot just keeps returning the message that I've mentioned above. Maybe it does not work if I have already linked some P2PKH addresses within the same wallet?

ByteBall belongs to TOP10 with 1B+ marketcap, there is no question about that. Actually I'm quite surprised it's not there yet.

Hi at all,
that's my first post, but I'm part of the network since last year. I'm one of the guys who didn't get his blackbytes.
I'm running a full wallet since the 23th of December and keep it up to date until now. I didn't unistall or restore a backup at all. The only thing I changed compared to the previous distributions is the hub. I changed it from .org to .fr and back. When I changed it back, I got an error, something with trouble with two devices. Before I changed, I always waited until my wallet was fully synced. Any ideas what I can do? I have been patient for more than a week now and getting a liltle bit frustrated.
You have to talk again with transition bot when you change hub. Contact Tonych' to see if he can solve your problem.

Thanks for your response ByteFan, I'm going to contact Tonych.

Should probably change market to Mbytes instead of Gbyte, the high price is probably scaring people away.

i have the same opinion with you.

we should do that, i think it's a good move for this project..

why can not people realize this?

i think we need use Mbyte !  can we vote for this? how can i sign a message with my byteball wallet?

thank you

I agree Mbytes or even bytes look more attractive

Yes. Let's do MBYTE!!!

Total supply of 1000 000 Gb equals to 1000 000 000 Mb/1000 000 000 000 Kb / 1000 000 000 000 000 B.  The last thriad has too many zerous that undermine the coin's value. I find that, for me, personally GByte sounds very solid,  I am all for it and all opposite to Mb/Kb/B

1 billion is not a bad number so I still think 1000 000 000 MB is good. BTW you should use uppercase B because lowercase b stands for bit not byte. Psychologically 0.6$ is much better price than 600$. People always say GB is too expensive in a whining voice. I know it's stupid but pride will get you killed one day. Better opt to the stupid people.

Use whichever unit isn't matter. I think use GByte is better, getting comparable with Bitcoin is good. Moreover, with GByte, there are only 1 million GByte, sound a very reasonable amount to me.

Mbyte is cheaper for new people..

not sure any altcoin will ever do that. bitcoins a store... whilst everyone values something against bitcoin it shows they want to return to bitcoin.

its like in the real world wanting silver to overtake gold. not going to happen. price can rise sure but you wont reach parity. you can however acquire more byteballs to achieve the desired btc amount.

bitcoin was the first. it will always be the first.

dont quote his ico crap. i reported multiple of his for sig campaign. ico buy ins are just another scam method to make money. if the believed in their vision they'd release first then ask. not this we want to make this give money. projects sometimes generate 100 million. seriously its a team of 5. how can they need 100 million to get started. google, apple etc didnt start with 100 million in cash. how many of these ico funded projects have got anywhere? how many will be around in years to come? once sec comes down hard these unregistered securities wont be worh jack. just because they call it and ico doesnt mean its not an ipo.

just because they incorporate in some third world country doesnt mean as a us cutizen they cant be charged for sell to us citizens. its a ticking timebomb waiting to blow and its a dotcom bubble pop all over again.

impossible if the trade pair for byteball contains btc instead of usd. bitcoin with its hashing investment worldwide wont go away anytime soon.

Bitcoin has worked pretty much flawlessly for every minute of every day under intense pressure for years on end while armies of people have done everything possible to rip it apart. That's technical shit?
