Ok, why are some able to get in on this and some have to wait a few days?? sounds sketchy.. First gb are given for linked btc and later for having gb in wallet. Blackbytes are always distributed later. Whats sounds sketchy? FREE MONEY? Many screamers like yourself trying to make this looks shady because they didnt follow correct procedure on time. Bot is swithced off during airdrop. after few days will be back up.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I didn't say shady, I am more wondering if because I was getting this error before the snapshot, and still after the snapshot am I now unable to participate in receiving the Airdrop. I have a significant amount of BTC which has been in the same address for months, so I would like to participate. But when I try to link my BTC address to my BYTE address I get this error. If all I need to do is wait a few days, that is fine..

I'm thinking are there more coins like byteball with distribution to bitcoin holders?

But for stellar you should connect your bitvoin adresses to your facebook...

If I want to transfer my full wallet from my PC to my Mac. What's the best way to do this? Is the only option to create a new wallet on my Mac and transfer the GBs? I'm guessing backup and restore won't work.
You can also create a multisig wallet and have your coins on 2 or more devices

There is Bitcore. But the amount you get is only equal to the amount of Bitcoins you had and can prove with signature back in late April. They are also doing a weekly airdrop, lately, but only for people who have balances in the top 1000 Bitcore addresses. Although I do like Bitcore, this distribution for Byteball seems a lot better. Wish that I gave this a chance months ago.

Wish that I gave this a chance months ago. That is true. Byteball's distribution pattern is undoubtedly better. People fail to realize that a coin grows as the number of users grows. By restricting the airdrop to the top 1000 Bitcore addresses, Bitcore has dug its own grave.

That is only because of the airdrop and people dumping their free coins. One day's volumes are not indicative of anything. In a day's time, this should normalize.

In a day's time, this should normalize. it's not as important as the average volume of course. but it's definitely an indicative. it tells how many people participate in the airdrop and how all that volume is bought by other persons. i'm sure it also call other exchanges' attention who want to get their fee share every day and mainly on future airdrops

1 confirmation.
We can't confirm anything on your balance unless you post the address to check.
Thanks for the reply. I am not really confident posting that info on the thread, maybe I could PM though.... but I am trying to understand what happened myself. I have two different byteball addresses linked to several btc addresses each. So maybe it is me that got wrong in my calculations. Two questions: - What is the exact block that has been used for the snapshot? - Have the airdrop already been finished including the 20% per previous byteballs? You're welcome to PM me and I can work with you to figure out exactly what you thought was going to happen and what happened. Probably best if you're live on slack with me. Snapshot block was: 474898 All byteballs were distributed (and bonus). Blackbytes are not yet complete. in a few days the bot said
Ok, why are some able to get in on this and some have to wait a few days?? sounds sketchy.. The bot is basically shut down for the snapshot and payments. So, it is locked to make it easy to confirm all amounts. Really makes it easy to prove to people what their balances were and what was paid, etc. Sketchy? Well, you only have a month to link addresses minus a couple of days for everything to be paid out and confirmed. ^^Ok Thanks. On another note, is anyone else still waiting to receive their GB? Neither my GB nor GBB have shown up yet.
No, all GB has been distributed. GBB is still being done.

How to check sync status? I'm using light wallet, and it always at 0% sync. After every full backup re-import it syncs, but I see the same 0 balance, so I think I'm not synced at all.
