He has unprecedented power even for a heavyweight and in his 10 UFC wins, 9 are by knockout with 7 of them coming in the first round. He has been on an absolutely roll since back to back defeats in 2018 to Stipe Miocic and Derrick Lewis. Since those two losses, he has 4 knockouts in a row with the longest fight being 1 minute and 11 seconds. The big test for Ngannou is if he can’t get the early knockout then what is his strategy. He will need to have improved cardio and wrestling defense if he wants a chance against Miocic.
Prediction: Ngannou will play it a little safer early and be patient. I expect him to catch Miocic this time. Ngannou by knockout in round 1

Tyron Woodley vs Vicente Luque Prediction and Analysis
Tyron Woodley (19-6-1 MMA, 9-5-1 UFC) is a former welterweight champion that has been really have a tough time of late. He has lost 3 straight fights with none of them being competitive at all. They have an extremely underrated manager in Craig Counsell who gets the most out of the talent that they have. The offense is led by superstar Christian Yelich who since arriving in Milwaukee has been an absolute force. The pitching staff is extremely underrated and has two potential aces in Brandon Woodruff and Corbin Burnes, anchored by a lights out closer in Josh Hader. This team can definitely get hot in September and October and make a deep playoff run.

Again, I’m going to be called crazy here but I really like the Brewers chances this year to make a deep run. I think they will ride the wave of a hot bat in Christian Yelich and an underrated pitching staff. In the AL, I like a healthy Yankees team to cruise through the AL. The world series will be extremely exciting in front of fans this year and it could really go either way.

As we draw season 13 to a close, the Counter-Strike scene has proved to be one of the most entertaining eSports on the market, still to this day. Teams have been duking it out in order to prove their abilities on the main stage and around the world. With rankings being at a volatile stage, along with online play due to COVID, tournaments and their parity have been wild to say the least. Since there are opportunities for all teams in every competition, many have taken advantage of the situation. These new CIS teams placing in the top levels have taken over the game, and it’s truly a spectacle to watch them execute their game plans. This week, however, we have a great quarter finals match up in the winner’s bracket. We’ll be breaking down the game of giants, Gambit Esports vs Astralis.

Gambit Esports is a squad that has risen to the pinnacle of CS:GO within a few months. Their hard work and talent go hand in hand to make one of the best teams the game has seen strategically, and also aim-wise. The CIS background and roots that Gambit represents reflect a long history of great counterstrike within the region. Taking the throne from Natus Vincere, the young guns have paired with veteran player “Hobbitt” in order to create something special. This Gambit team has the clutch factor, the game smarts, and most importantly the fun and entertaining aspect, in order to keep viewers dialed in. Being the previous winners of IEM Katowice, Gambit will look to take their confident run a step further, and win this ESL Pro League Season. Even if they lost to Astralis in their only past meeting, I think the Russian Mix will have plenty in store for Astralis this second time around.

Astralis are considered the Greatest Counter-Strike team of all time, and it’s not really that close. With dominant titles over years and years of gameplay, this core five has never abandoned each other, and some would say, even get better with time. Dev1ce, the world-renowned AWP sniper for the team, believes that is the case as well. With more encouraging results in the past few months, Astralis wants to be back on top of the scene in a hurry. Doing so is not an easy feat, however Astralis is one team everyone should not count out. The reasons for their streak are still ever present and reflective in today’s games, and Astralis knows that. Their willingness to watch film, strategize, and make their opponents uncomfortable proves to be an issue for anyone and everyone. Utility usage along with team setups make this Astralis team a danger to face, no matter the situation. If we see Astralis winning this matchup, it’ll be off the back off some good counter-strategizing, as well as insights from coach Zonic. The Danish power house looks to extend and keep their dreams alive, however, will it happen?

It would be foolish to say that either has a hugely favorite factor in this matchup. Both teams are capable of taking each other out, especially in this online play. All in all, though, I’ll be backing Gambit to take the win here, and edge out the Danes.
