i have made some thoughts about the zcash hashrate :

Today i checked the hashrate of zcash and it is about 9mio khasps or 9,000,000,000 h/s or 9Gh/s.
I wonder how can this be,if my 1060 GTX has around 50h/s according to suprnova.cc
That would mean that the hashrate equals 180,000,000 equals 180mio. Nvidia GTX 1060 graphic cards.

I ask me, if even bitcoin is just used by around 10 Mio. users (very high estimated,https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/4o3pl2/how_many_people_actually_own_bitcoin/)).
Than i think there are maybe just 100,000 people who use zcash (extremily high estimated)
Than let's say 100% of them would also mine zcash.That would mean, that the average user would have to own about 1800 GPUs.

This seems to me absolutely ridiculously.
So can somebody tell me what i did wrong in my reflectings?  

According to this web page, https://explorer.zcha.in/ there is only about 12,731,620 sol/s. That would only be a little over 250,000 Nvidia GTX graphic cards.

Those guys are the smartest in the industry. They not spend $1m for nothing. I am sure they have plans.

Ugh...plz read up on this coin before saying crap that's not true.  Dev fee lasts the next 4 years, roughly.  This coin had no giant premine or such.  The fee financing devs lasts the next 4 years, so they get a small amount each block.  So no, they have not been pain even a fraction of what they will (we're still in slow-start mode).

That's not quite true. They've been paid $2.9M in return for forward selling 331K of the 2.1M Founders' Reward.

I have had to start mining the old coins again  if I want to make any money.... had hoped for better with this coin. But as we know, most new coins never live up to the hype.

How far will ZEC drop.... still think it is a perfect pump and dump coin with a lot of volume... marketcap of only $3.5M, if you check other coins then this coin is cheap...other coins didn't had any mining costs, here at least some people have to pay to mine this coin; The good thing is that the profit for miners are decreasing, so if demand for the coin move up then the price will move up too.

Dropping to place 32 in the TOP 100 coins list.... how far it can drop... Dev should really do a fork of his coins...

if he take 20% of coins then it makes sense that he try to put the marketcap as high as possible now his coins is worth $3.5M so that means $700,000 for him

If he fork the coin and put the reward at 6 ZEC per block then he receive less ZEC coins but that really doesn't matter if the marketcap increase to $5M then he get $1,000,000 (with less ZEC coins, but his $ profit will be a lot higher), so ZEC dev, I think you know what you have to do.... else I still this marketcap dropping more and more, even that you receive more ZEC coins.

Why on earth would you even consider to get involved in this coin? how can anyone puts a price on a coin still not launched at high crazy prices? was it real physical gold coins that people knew it will be worth it if they buy in?
Any crypto coin coming out if has something new and I mean really new then naturally it should take at least 2 years to see the performance and then price will go up if it's a good one.

When people understand that anyone with half a million dollars could easily hype this coin or any other coin for that matter? greed blinds them all.

gaining such experience in the mining and still spearheaded the focus on exchanges, maybe even not in favor of the miners, because a single small farms has nothing to do on the main zcash for, maybe because of consolidatie budget, maybe that's the plan, but preparing a few years to run, I think that was the first million coins mine in favor of a single small farms and give more people the opportunity of initiation of, or conduct air drop test zcash for networking but we only see two weeks of mining and hundreds of thousands of miners to throw out the equipment and look for speculative methods acquiring zcash for, ripping off our roof, of course, and lubricating a pleasant experience
however, once the slogans happy crypto discoverers died away, leaving the sharks to eat our souls, cleverly, but cleverly fucked, I think
although again, that may be, in order fiscal consolidation path of the selected devs, loyal and giving them strength at this stage, eliminating risks

Looks like ZCash is a prime example of what happens when a coin that is highly anticipated starts with regular mining and without some kind of ICO or premine. I'm not saying, that ICOs or premines are the better solution, but it is interesting to see, what is happening. Market cap is holding relatively steady, but with the constant mining of new coins, the price per coin gets diluted. I actually like ZCash as an idea, but for a non-miner, non-hardcore-daytrader, it doesn't look worth it to get into right now, which limits buyers to speculators and people who are convinced that it is going to overtake Bitcoin in the future.

In other news: Edward Snowden tweeted about ZCash today. Did he before? I don't remember.
