Try to read the thread. 2 or 3 last pages this has already been discussed. Try to uninstall drivers with DDU and reinstall them. If bios is modded try to write back original rom. Disable over/underclock. Reboot the system.

I get the following error using 12.4 on windows 10 with AMD 15.12 driver.
It takes a few days before it happens. I have tested it with flypool also.

Etherion, can you tell me the specs of your system? what cards are the firts 5? from GPU0 to GPU4 ? are they 7970/280x? ...also the last three, are they R9 290X/390X ? I can guess, if you are using 15.12 drivers.....for 7970/280X best intensity is 6 ....tryed with 7 , they do better job with -i 6 , so you wanna do that ....set -i 9 for the faster cards, and -6 for the slower one's ...
If u think it is a bug with the miner, then dont use , -tt , tstop, -di , -a and -r 1 commands....you don't need them basicaly. If you want to control the temp, just set it in the drivers control panel , SET 87 Celsius max temperature for all cards. Also, there is auto restart whatch dog auto command build in the miner if something is wrong with the cards or system, the miner restars itself.
Pls do tell the specs of yout system, i'm very curios if you are using all 8 cards on 1 PSU Smiley ...Last summer/fall i was having touble with old Cooler Master Vaunguard 850W (seasonic tier 1 psu) , with just one moded and overclocked 7970,  290X (default) and overclocked Q9550 .....Every single connector had fryed :/ literary, pci-e, sata's and cpu connectors, every single one of them, on both ends  PSU-GPU vice versa Smiley although the 290X connectors are fine, the 7970 ones i had to replaced them ...... I had to replaced 6 or 7 capacitors in order to fix the PSU and came back in life Smiley
In my personal opinion, u should check entire system, cables, stability of the system....i dont think you have a stable system there...

Is Claymore planning a new release guys?

The miner is already very fast. Difficult to improve speed any more.
But it's need to improve stability.
Ive had zero problems with stability with the miner itself. The only time something goes wrong it's because of me (oc to much)

Keep up the good work claymore!
I tried stock frequinces on 270X and 280X. Same result - miner 12.4 unstable. I read this thread - most 280X on 12.4 unstable. This means that 12.4 need to improve stability.

I can confirm your findings with 280x, I reverted back to 12.0, now I can run at higher intensity, I don't have to use -r 60 to reset miners due to falling hashrates.  I tried the -old 1 but it didn't do it for me.
Try 12.2 - for me it gives more speed than 12.0 and stable.

Thanks, I concur.  About 2% faster, and so far, stable.

I have different results actually. My rig that has a 7970 and 280x has been stable for the last 5 days on 12.4 after I backed off the clocks a bit. Granted my 280x has Elpida memory and only can hit 296H/s to be stable.. Just some thoughts.

12.4 version for the win...you just have to figure it out....ive tested 12.2 and 12.0 ....nothing beats 12.4....im using moded 7970 and 290X ....290X is always on default because i'm having heat issues..it is in my case...but 7970 is doing fine, 1300-1325 on the memory ...and 1125 on the core....The problem with the 12.4 is that it is way to much optimized actually Smiley thus is more power hungry...and memory intensive ...that's why you are having stability issues ....you must check ur psu cabling, ur PSU stability....in one word general system stability.  12.0 and 12.2 are more lightly on the system and thats why in general you are thinkig that you are having better results....but, if all is good, 12.4 is the best version. Trust me, i too was having problems at the beginning...done some re-flashing on the bios(es), changing volts on the gpus...frequencys....in the end i found that 7970 works better with 1325 max on memory frequency.....also modded 290X is having problems with higher freq on memory and high -intensity at the same time....back down the intensity settings...i find it -i5 and -6 works ok with 7970 ....for 290X -6 , -7 and -9 (if i'm not on my pc)

I reverted back to 12.2 for ZEC for my 7970's and 280x's and couldn't be happier with 15.12 and BIOS mods from the BIOS mod thread for ZEC mining for Hynix and Elpida.

Hey guys this doesn't seem right.  I'm running 2 rx 470s and 1 480.  My watt meter says I'm using 580 Watts which seems high for 3 cards.  Each card is at 80 watts.

Greetings Mr. Claymore or is it @Claymore?

Anyway - I'm sure this question has been asked before but what are the chances of you producing a CUDA enabled version of you Zcash miner?

I have recently added a Pascal chipset based rig (1 1070 and 2 1060 6GB) and I plan to add more because of the awesome hash vs. power consumption these cards can give me. This is so important in a country where I pay $0.17/kWh.

I'm using your miner on the AMD rigs I have but they are mostly 290s and use ridiculous power compared to the Nvidia rig.

I am seriously considering selling the AMD cards and moving to Nvidia, while I can still get reasonable resale on R9 290 cards.

I notice that you state that your ETH dual miner software is capale of mining with rigs using mixed AMD/Nvidia cards - if I could do that with Zcash mining I would be very happy because I could consolidate and use less Mobos.

I know I could have bought AMD RX cards but at least for Zcash mining I think Nvidia is better, so I am using EWBF or sometimes Excavator.

It would be nice to be able to use your monitoring software to see ALL my rigs and to consolidate the best combinations for motherboards and power supplies.

Crypto currency enthusiast and miner since 2015. Mined approx 200 ETH during 2016 and 2017 and sold it at approximately $US40 each. Then I watched it reach $1000+ each. If anyone bothers to read this stuff pay attention to this: HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL

I started mining with 1 AMD 7950 and 1 R9-280X. Then I gradually built my AMD operation into 12 R9-290s. Awesome ETH hash but ridiculous power consumption and heat. Over the last year I defected to the Nvidia team. I now use GTX 1070s. They were expensive to buy (probably a bargain now) but awesome hash rate vs. power consumption. blah blah blah blah

As I said before (several times), I'm not going to create ZEC miner for Nvidia.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

It is just change the memory timing. It is less effect now as the new miner use the core a lot.

Giusto can you tell me the hashrate of a stock rx 480 4GB and the hashrate of an overclocked One?And for the rx 470 4gb? Does It mines similiar ti the rx 480 4gb?

Hello,
I use 6x the MSI RX470 gaming x 8GB cards. I have a hashrate from 279 sol each cards on zcash mining with ethOS 1.2.0
Total I have a hashrate from 1674 sol.
On stock settings this card makes 165 sol
My power consumption is for the total system 825 Watt from the wall. (including motherboard).  Each card used 130 Watt with overclocking. (Stock is 110 Watt)
I use the next settings for overclocking:
mem :  1725
core:  1240

I hope this is usefull for you.
