Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

320 sols on 290x stock and
290 sols on 290 stock  Grin

Try 1100 core and 1125 mem on your 290s.. I'm getting 320ish each

290 - 1050/1250 - 320
280 - 1000/1500 - 195

How did you get it?
I have a xfx r9 290 = 295 h / s

Reference r9 290 stilt bios @ 1000/1450 = 305 H/s

I can probably run this at 1150/1450 and get 330-340H/S however wife is already complaining about the noise.

Anyone got any Pitcairn improvements? Too lazy to test. 280x/470 seem to be the same

What does "GPU1 hangs in OpenCL call" mean?

Possibly faulty PCI riser, Try replacing GPU1's riser and it might go away.

Everything is stock, I will try with a different riser.  What is actually going wrong though?  Not enough power or signals getting crossed or what?

Same problems i have but only with one, exactly one, card. Miner named it GPU#3. Changed a couple risers and whatever but always the same card.
So, card needs more vGPU power. Try to rise vGPU and PowerLimit only for that card. That is the settings helped me.
Don't know the resons but that card have good ASIC around 85%...
I have 10x msi rx 470 8GB cards (~2270sol/s) and plane to change them for gtx 1060 3GB versions (for ZCash). Cooler and less power hungry with good statistics for ZCash mining...

I picked the riser up and put it in another slot and it has been running for about 15 minutes now at full speed without any issues.  Why on earth would the the specific slot make a difference?

EDIT: as soon as I said that I got, "GPU #0 returned incorrect data! d07f5ff9" and it is now running at 0 hashes per second and is getting the same GPU hangs message. Blah
At least when it restarted itself this time the GPU actually came back on as mining.

THANKS Claymore!

9.3 is about %1 slower on RX 480 and RX 470

BUT it is much more stable!

No hangouts

It works almost 14-15 hours without problem.

9.2 and 9.1 was not stable for me.

Hmm, it seems 390X can reach 400H/s though it requires some additional efforts, Polaris cards can get some speedup too.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Hi can anyone help me i have a psu on 700w and 2x rx 470 xfx 4gig & 1x rx 480 nitro 8gig and i dosen't get it to work when i start the miner my computer hangs and i have to restart it a fast easy guide to undervolt cards or something pls!

Check the PS +12VDC rails - if it's not a single-rail design you might be overloading one of the rails.
If it IS a single-rail design it still might be marginal for the +12VDC draw.

Not all "700w" power supplies are built equally.

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

The R9 390 has more memory bandwidth and more computing cores.

I agree with that. The R9 390 has 512 memory bit, so it is faster.
