640W off the wall (modded 470*4 + stock 370): umm... I upped the voltage a bit, so this one is the actual 640W:

Im getting 1280 sol/s @ 665 watts at wall so that equates to 1280/665 = 1.92 sols per watt with r9 nano x4 underclocked and undervolted.... If i power them up as standard it works out at 1380 sols @ 775 watts at wall which works out 1.72 sols per watt! So the way forward seems to be undervolting and underclocking if your electricity prices are costing you a pretty penny

So it seems whattomine gives lower hashrates for a RX470-4gb. Can anyone post his current 470 hashrate + power consumption with V10 please?
Updated today to 220@110W. With extra tweaking maybe 10-20 would be possible. Depends how high your core can go and still stay around 0.9V

For the last couple of weeks, I have noticed that my 8 GPUs rig is submitting about 300 less sol/s than what it is reporting. the rig detials Claymore 10v for the lats 16h but 9.3 before for several days ect windows 10 amd driver 16.11.3. I don't overclock at all AMD Cards available: 8 GPU #0: Tahiti, 3072 MB available, 32 compute units GPU #0 recognized as Radeon 280X/380X GPU #1: Tahiti, 3072 MB available, 32 compute units GPU #1 recognized as Radeon 280X/380X GPU #2: Tahiti, 3072 MB available, 32 compute units GPU #2 recognized as Radeon 280X/380X GPU #3: Tahiti, 3072 MB available, 32 compute units GPU #3 recognized as Radeon 280X/380X GPU #4: Tahiti, 3072 MB available, 32 compute units GPU #4 recognized as Radeon 280X/380X GPU #5: Hawaii, 8192 MB available, 44 compute units GPU #5 recognized as Radeon 390X GPU #6: Hawaii, 8192 MB available, 44 compute units GPU #6 recognized as Radeon 390X GPU #7: Hawaii, 8192 MB available, 40 compute units GPU #7 recognized as Radeon 390 The 280x/380x are hd7970 but it does not seems to have any negative effect.

One of my rig is acting weird
I did mine a couple of days without problem rebooted it and then the problem has started
When I start the miner I see thaty 480 4gb show as 3gb at the beginning of the miner and then it just closes without any error message
Someone familiar with this problem?

Anyone using 7970's. What are you finding for the best Algorithm? What hashrate are you seeing?
I'm getting about 890H/s with 4 7970's using a2 i8. With a single 7090 I get 223H/s with a2 i8.
Thanks

Hi all wanting to use 7990 and RX 470 in same rig. Had issues with ethereum mining with this combo and using the 16 drivers, this resulted in the 7990 hash rate dropping significantly by around 50%. Is it possible with any of the newer drivers to pair these two together without sacrificing hash rates on either of them, if so what drivers are recommended?

when a card hits the max temperature - 1 it will drop the clock until it finds the sweet spot where the temperature is not raising further. Manually increase the fan such as the temp is well bellow the max temperature. Also keep the 7990 on the right side of the 70

I tried to run 7990s and 480x on the same rig, and it will "work" but its not very stable. Id use two rigs if possible. The older 79xx cards like the 15.12 drivers, but these drivers wont detect my 480's ( and probably the 470's). JJ

JJ when u run cards like that in same rig u have to try diff configurations in card order also try 15.x drivers my case drivers dont make much difference i been running 1 rig with 7970 with a 290x with 14.12 7970 is at 267 v10 290 is at 335 v9.3 as 9.3 is better 4 290/390 atm with your type i just set a guys r480 with 2 290x's it didnt like the rx480 in 2nd or last but 1st pcie slot just depends on the rig(mobo)as this was on a rig that wasnt cross x compatible was a old q9550 rig
