Hi everyone!

Could you tell me, is it good enough tuned to be fine settings in hash power and consumption.
Rig - AM3+, FX-4330, 5*RX 470 4Gb+ SSD. 1190/2000 , -90mV , -i 3

ver 11.1, 1200 sol/s , 700Watt from the wall.

May I can do something more to increase hashrate or lower consumption ?

BR, RAKOT.

I managed to lower voltage to -96 in afterburner at stock clocks 1256/1750. It is showing me around 1012 mV. If I lower it in AMD Wattman I can lower it to at least 985 mV. At 975 mV it is unstable. I get 243 h/s on -i 8 and modded bios.

What about power draw ?

Yes I'm working on new version with speedup for all cards. Need a few more days though.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Please add accumulated hashrate that only counts accepted shares, this way doin math on my fingers i get some 5% loss before even looking at the pool stats.
Just a random examples from right now:

Time 19.26 shares 12078 diff 6000. That gives me 1036h/s. But miner shows 1090-1100.
Time 19.42 shares 7072 diff 6000. My math says 598, miner says 625-630.

Using ssl and rejects 0.2-0.3%

guys can we use both of nvidia and amd cards in one rig?
for example 1 r9 390x and 3 gtx 1070

Yes...
but you'll need to run seperate software for each.
claymore for r9 390x and then nicehash eqm for the gtx 1070

My bad, I had hd7950 in mind. On rx470 it shows 75w in afterburner so with about 92% efficiency of psu it is about 81w at the wall

Afterburner/gpu-z most likely show "gpu only" power draw and not from the whole graphics card. So I don't think you're getting 81w at the wall with rx 470, you're getting 100+w.

I don't know if it works with MOD bios. I don't mess around with that - maybe someone else knows. It works just fine with RX480's. Here's a picture of Claymore 11.1 linux on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS using 6 RX480's:
>img clipped<

did you ever tried Optiminer on Ubuntu 16.04? People get 280-290 H/s on RX480 AFTER fees, not before (what you are posting).
Small difference, but still.

I get 305 per RX480 with optiminer
I have 18 RX480, do the maths, its a huge difference.

How many RX480's per Rig? And what is your power consumption?

I get 1770 H/s with x6 RX480's and 950 Watts at the wall

i use 11.1 claymore version and my gpus are r9 390x as i read in 11.1 description i must get about 365
what's the problem?

maybe different brands get different results

I have 6 asus strix 390 oc in one rig and had to play with core oc while reducing voltage to get near that value

Not every card is the same, I fine tune each card with different oc and voltage because some won't produce more h/s past certain setting so there's no need to keep stressing the card, some get there with only 1120-1130 others only with 1150 core clock.

drivers also have influence and you need to check wich is best for your rig

I have one of the same cards and it seams no matter what i set the core clock I cant seam to get what most ppl do the crazy thing is if I to set the clocks in AF my rates are lower than if I just start claymore with nothing but temps, it seams that I get the best rates for all my cards this way its just driving me crazy

I will measure it with watt meter and report the results.

Someone posted a link to a Hash-rate/watt-usage table for stock cards a while back. I think it was a link to zcash forum or another Bitcointalk thread. Can someone post it again to refresh my memory?

Just to share what I've been observing with the "power spikes" and HWINFO64. Spikes seem to occur every 5-6 polling intervals (time = 100ms)

V9 (Intensity 8 ):

Fury Nitro:

1110/550, -108mv, ~352 S/s;

GPU Core Current: AVG 153A, but spikes as high as 247A

GPU Core Power: AVG 173W, but spikes as high as 280W

1140/550, -12mv, ~360 S/s;

GPU Core Current: AVG 175A, but spikes as high as 310A

GPU Core Power: AVG 210W, but spikes as high as 370W

RX470 Nitro 8GB:

1300/2100, -100mv, ~223 S/s;

GPU Core Current: AVG 78A, but spikes as high as 126A

GPU Core Power: AVG 78.3W, but spikes as high as 126W

V8 (Intensity 4 ):

Fury Nitro:

1110/550, -108mv, ~300 S/s;

GPU Core Current: AVG 145A, but spikes as high as 192A

GPU Core Power: AVG 165W, but spikes as high as 218W

1140/550, -12mv, ~310 S/s;

GPU Core Current: AVG 180A, but spikes as high as 224A

GPU Core Power: AVG 207W, but spikes as high as 274W

RX470 Nitro 8GB:

1300/2100, -100mv, ~190 S/s;

GPU Core Current: AVG 75A, but spikes as high as 99A

GPU Core Power: AVG 74.5W, but spikes as high as 99.6W

Do you think these spikes can be the reason why my rig freezes? I will describe my problem a little.

I have a 7970, a 280x and two fury nitros. During the last couple of weeks I have been trying to run my system stable with no luck. Freezes can happen at any time after starting to mine. Sometimes minutes, sometimes hours.

Rig specs: Asrock 970 extreme4. Sempron 145. 8GB ram. EVGA 1300 G2. Sapphire 7970 ghz edition, sapphire 280x vapor-x, 3x sapphire fury nitro OC. Tahiti cards undervolted on bios, fiji cards on msi afterburner. No OC on furys. Win 10. 12.6.3. CM 11.1.

First I changed all risers to v6 ones.

Next I upgraded the processor to athlon x2 because I noticed that I was getting less hashes when MSI afterburner was on and I thought the system would be more stable.

After a couple of days more I changed the mobo to asrock h81 pro btc with celeron 1840.

Still no luck.

I thought that the power was insufficient so I added a corsair rx1000 linked with an add2psu device.

No luck, freezes persist.

Changed EVGA to corsair hx1200i. This psu is powering mobo, raisers and tahiti cards.

Nothing changed.

I stopped undervolting. Still same freezes.

One fury died the day before yesterday. No fans, not detected in win 10, not detected on ubuntu, mobo not booting when the card is alone.

I changed risers again to the furys.

I used separate cables for each riser.

I powered the offending fury card with one cable for each connector. Still the same.

I tried catalyst 15.12. Same effect.

Sometimes I see 511 degrees in the fury card on CM log prior to freeze, sometimes it just stops hashing without any error and the watchdog doesn't restart the miner, sometimes all 4 cards go to 0.000 hashing without any error, sometimes after gpu reported incorrect temperature 511°C.

I'm already out of ideas.

Any hint, anyone?

@malandante

looks like you swapped everything out but the actual cards.. and maybe the memory on the mobos? run memtest86+ for a few hours. use the bootable iso on a cd or usb stick, no OS.

set the pcie gen to 2 or 1 in the mobo bios, that seems to keep cards on risers happier.

no bios mods on the videocards? basically everything is stock?

I thought these spikes pretty much disappeared by version 10.x-11? Can someone confirm?
