I can't get this to work on my PC. It crashes after about 10-15 seconds on startup
Under clock. Or change the riser. The miner actually doesn't start. CMD closes after that amount of time. Can't even get logging to work to figure out what's wrong. Check your Power Supply Unit and cables, check if there are burnt cables one by one This solved my issue before. Good luck! Wilb

If the dos box closes down soon after opening it usually means that there is an error in the .bat file configuration. Run the miner in a dos box, it should not close and you should see an error message that will help you find out what's wrong.

Hi guys, newb here. I got a 480 8gb and a Vega64 running on 17.10.3 I am keeping my tests as safe as possible, so no bios mods. I am really baffled by the behavior of my setup over time. It starts up pretty good for stock and slowly creeps down to a grind. Also I can't notice a significant difference in hash rate with HBCC on or off, and I have repeated these results with blockchain drivers. This image is taken at startup: And this after some minutes: Meanwhile the log goes crazy with buffer overflows, and can't seem to find a way around it, besides restarting the driver. 16:32:05:409 2e5c ZEC: put share nonce 5b06 16:32:05:417 2e5c ZEC round found 1 shares 16:32:05:425 2734 ZEC: 10/28/17-16:32:05 - SHARE FOUND - (GPU 1) 16:32:05:430 2734 send share: {"id": 4, "method": "mining.submit", "params": xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 16:32:05:529 2734 got 83 bytes 16:32:05:536 2734 buf: {"id":4,"result":null,"error":[23,"low difficulty share of 0.062499046325683594"]}

Can anyone shed some light to this freaky behaviour, and a possible workaround? HBCC does nothing on mining speed it s just a bug in the driver you can keep it disable, and just disable the gpu and renable it in task manager to get full speed check the monero vega thread for more info not sure it s a good idea to mix an rx with an vega on same computer, and also the vega is more profitable on monero when the rx on eth

This is how mine looks and no probs with windows 10.
Just copy and paste this into your bat.

It would be helpful if you could post your .bat file configuration (and the conf.txt file, to-be-sure) so that it would help us get a better idea as to what my be going wrong. Below is my .bat file (the conf.txt file is empty). Hi I'm new to all this, I have managed to mine ETH but for life of me I cant get this miner to work.
I have an VEGA 64 GPU could it be driver issue?
runs for about 5 seconds and then shuts down. below are my .bat settings:
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 ZecMiner64.exe -zpool eu1-zcash.flypool.org:3333 -zwal Myaddress.BobsRig1 -zpsw x
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I did a test mine using your settings above, using an R9 270X, and it worked just fine. Maybe if you try the SSL config it might work "ZecMiner64.exe -zpool ssl://eu1-zcash.flypool.org:3443 -zwal YourAddress.YourWorkerName -zpsw x" .

Hey guyz, I'm using Claymore's Remote Manager (EthMan) to check if my miners are ok. I've seen that when i add a Worker i've the option to change the listening port (by default is: 3333). I've now a really simple question, is it possible on the MININGRIG-Side to change the default port of Claymore Eth Dual Miner so on my main RIG I can just change the listenting port in Claymore's Remote Manager to check the miner stat ? Cheers, Natizyskunk

I've not used Claymore ZCash miner 'in anger' but thought I'd give it a try out on the Bitcoin Gold testnet on http://btcg.miningspeed.com/ , but I'm having problems with the SSL configuration. If I mine without SSL is works fine, but if (and I've tried all possible combination I can think of) I use the suggested SSL configurations it gives the following error - any help ? ZEC: Stratum - connecting to 'btcg.miningspeed.com' <188.166.72.107> port 3064 (SSL/TLS)
ZEC: Stratum - Cannot connect to btcg.miningspeed.com:3064 ZEC: Stratum - Failed to connect, retry in 20 sec...

if you mine in testnet do you earn BTG? No, the Testnet is only for testing only you do not earn any Bitcoin Gold, you will have to wait for the Mainnet to come online. I'm using the Testnet to check out miners, just started with Claymore for now, to see what sort or return I would expect to get. EDIT: You can do test mining at http://btcg.miningspeed.com/ to see what sort of hashrate and BTG returns you'll get. BTG Calculator, https://www.crypto-coinz.net/crypto-calculator/

It seems the nvidia 1080Ti is still the best.
