You will need multiple PSU's to support a system like that. I like my 6 card rigs, they are nice and compact and don't weigh a ton when I need to move them.

Nice and organized. Smiley

Is there a way to pass api-listen and api-allow in cc/nvminer?

The new generation have arrived and they brought their own currency...

These miners doesn't provide any API support, making it very difficult to monitor them.

However, I will soon release the next version of Awesome Miner, with ccMiner support. That will enable you to at least have a basic monitoring of all your computers running ccMiner from a centralized point, and you will also get Awesome Profit Switcher - the next generation profit switcher that not only switches automatically between multiple algorithms, but also between multiple multi-pools.

Awesome Miner - Complete solution to manage and monitor mining operations of ASIC, GPU and CPU miners
Optimized Antminer firmware - Increased hashrate, improved power efficiency and more features. For S9, S9i, S9j, T9+, L3+, S17, S17 Pro, S17+, T17, T17+, S19, S19 Pro, S19j, S19j Pro, T19
Up to 200,000 miners | Notifications | Native overclocking | Profit switching | Customizable rules | API | Windows application | Mobile web

Cryptonight - The Bytecoin and Monero Saga -

Christian was mining monero using Amazon - So was this guy and he made a fortune up to 17 BTC per day - Christian were you in on this action?

I previously stated that I was involved both in XMR and BBR mining. Whether or not I was teamed up with specific folks around here, I won't tell.

Very excited to see this soon, or to see a new version of cc/nvminer with API support.  Either way, looks like great things on the horizon - keep up the good work!

How can you NOT know how to use AWS to mine...?

I figured out Azure but I have not looked at AWS. We all are not as Linux savvy as you are man. Your question is akin to someone saying:  How can you NOT know how to change a cylinder head just because you drive a car.

A few months ago I did not even know what mining crypto was about. Since then, with this site, other sites, a lot of questions, and a lot of hours, I have built two custom rigs and learned how to mine coins. For an old fuck like me it has been a steep learning curve. I know that I have a long way to go but I am limited with time right now as my summer vacation ends in a few days.

Would you believe that I have never gamed with a modern day system? Other than its name, I would not know the first thing about World of Warcraft or whatever is popular now. My first video game was pong and then I grew up using a Commodore 64 and a VIC 20. I did not even get serious about computers until I was in my 30s. Now I can program database apps in VBA, VB.net, Compact Framework. Someday I would like to learn about compiling mining software from GIT and then perhaps dive into software development for mining but my day-to-day life gets in the way sometimes. That may have to wait until retirement which is coming sooner rather than later.

AWS has Windows instances - you could use it just like any other Win mining system.
I tried, they don't work. No driver for the gpu and trying to instal one, got the message it couldn't find a gpu   Grin pretty funny for a gpu instance

Awesome Miner 1.1

Version 1.1 adds support for nVidia CUDA mining software, ccMiner. This is a feature requested by the nVidia mining community, and brings the powerful centralized management features of Awesome Miner to those using nVidia GPU's.

The screenshot below shows the mining with nVidia CUDA using ccMiner, together with other GPU and ASIC miners.

Awesome Profit Switching makes it possible to get higher profits than any of the auto-switching multi-pools alone, by automatically switching between multiple algorithms and multiple multi-pools. The latest version includes support for the nVidia CUDA based ccMiner.

Please note that the ccMiner software itself is not included in Awesome Miner, and of course no source code from ccMiner is used in Awesome Miner. Awesome Miner uses ccMiner as an external application for performing the actual mining

Awesome Miner - Complete solution to manage and monitor mining operations of ASIC, GPU and CPU miners
Optimized Antminer firmware - Increased hashrate, improved power efficiency and more features. For S9, S9i, S9j, T9+, L3+, S17, S17 Pro, S17+, T17, T17+, S19, S19 Pro, S19j, S19j Pro, T19

Always amazed by people selling software using as an in input an opensource software  Huh
(and you wonder why, open sourcing is less ans less mainstream)
