Alright guys....asking your advice....I think I'm gonna get my 6 741's in this August batch.  I just want to be ready to hook up and go once they arrived....so I have my workshop wired/setup for 220V...and I'm about to order 3 of these thanks to someone mentioning this earlier on.

http://www.parallelminer.com/product/2400watt-200v240v-power-supply-kit-for-2-antminer-r4-platinum-94-efficiency/

I have one controller coming...so what else do I need to make sure I'm ready to go....plug and play....?  Thanks Guys...

FYI running two 741's with voltage offset 0 would not run stable for me using that PSU. I would suggest a 2900 watt IBM psu along with breakout boards from optimizer. That should do the trick

He is a vendor who designs the breakout boards that allow us to use repurposed server PSU as a power source for mining equipment. Google search Price Technologies and send him an email. He should be able to get you more info.

You'll probably want a PDU for your 220V outlet(s), and if you're using that Delta PSU you'll need a power cable with a C19 connector.

i would build a second  rasp pi

i would clone the micro sd card from the first rasp pi

I would tell you that psu will do 2x 741s  on voltage  -2  and -1  but no on voltage 0

I would say  that  the ibm 2880 or ibm 2980 will do 2 on voltage 0

check here for optimizer

I just made a rasp pi  complete clone for .

10 blank cards with a read /write device included

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BDZW34Q/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

1 good case

1 rasp pi

or order this:

case+ rasp pi + micro card

I will show the build including cloning your card from your oem rasp pi I took 30 photos yesterday

Steve,

As the previous post mentioned, I too thank you for your contribution to the forum!

No problem.

I wanted to set up a separate forum for guys with technical questions, a place to share your tips, organize group buys,
AMA,  etc.   But for now I will use this. It's a bit overwhelming between this, tickets, emails, product planning.
If I do set something up I'll have to get some rewards/prizes going.  I need to steal a few machines for marketing/giveaways.

as always if something crops up and I'm missing something said hear, just drop me an email. I usually get to them within
48 hours

you are welcome    anyone that has  a few avalon 741's should have at least  2 rasp pi's   it is just common sense.   if the 1 rasp pi dies instant back up

once this avalon comes I will be up to 5 avalon's.  I very likely will order more.

oh and I paid them for the 1 avalon 741

They also split the dead A721 fan issue back into a different ticket and looks like it is on the way as well.
