Thanks NotFuzzyWarm,

I didn't want to break anything and rather ask the experts.

Thank you, you're awesome!

Philip,

I have the Anker dual charger and the usb cables.
I just ordered a new rasp pi 3 and a case to build my second controller, followed your write up.
I will plug them into a power strip once I work on my second one.

Thanks for your info greatly appreciate the rasp pi write up.

I got that tonight, too.  It's likely an automated email created by whatever ticketing system they are using--Steve said himself he was still trying to figure the system out.

I presume this is a precursor to a tracking number.

Same here But as others said, prolly an automated message released once an order starts moving through the system. Fingers crossed!

In other news...  As I mentioned earlier, had a fan die in an A721 and since I opened a repair Ticket shortly after placing a miner order that ticket ended up being linked to the new miner order by Canaan Support. After this delay kerfuffle it then was split off again back into a separate ticket. Guess what -- seems they created two fan orders #81983 and #82716 and I now have 2 replacement fans headed my way via DHL.... Kudos for getting it done but I take it the order system is a mess...

So far it hasn't shown to be in stock. I think they're clearing out the back orders until they list more.

My order from 8/8 got updated to Processing like most of the other replies who were waiting for things like a BTC address.

I think you are most likely correct. That would be the wise thing to do. That way they don't over sell when they open up ordering again.

They list only 2 exchanges for the coin. Current value around 20 cents. Also need a special wallet for it.
Ya might want to read the Unbreakable Coin thread here...

Hello bitcointalk.
I'm also waiting for my two pieces of 741's. Received the payment address and made the payment two days ago.  They send me invoice after my request "Please confirm that you have received my payment". So I believe it's ok. But still no tracking number. I believe there's gonna be a delay due to the storm in Honk Kong.

Everyone keep in mind that there are only three people handling customer support and hundreds of backorders (read Steve's post one page back). Just give them some time to go through the backlog of shipments, catch up on support tickets, and then figure out how much stock is available before they update the site for new orders.

Hello Everyone, anyone working Avalon, on 1200W PSU?   can you tell me can it handle?

Its risky - the specs want it to run at 1150W with up to a 15% variance, which would put you at 1322. Use a 1500 to be safe.

thanks that what I was thinking,  I wanted to order 2400W PSU from parallelminer.com  but  I read bad reviews some users waited 2 weeks before they ship products.  I do not want to wait so long.    can you give me link for 1500W PSU (if good price)  I will order.
