Just made a cheap fast withdraw to a bech32 address. Thanks for adding this Ethan, I like to see yolo staying on top of the technology.
I am actually thinking about using bech32 as change addresses. This should theoretically result in a bit smaller transaction sizes. I am still not sure about compatitbility with older wallets - would it confuse any service/wallet that accepts incoming transactions?

I've not had any problem using bech32 as change addresses.

I am actually thinking about using bech32 as change addresses. This should theoretically result in a bit smaller transaction sizes. I am still not sure about compatitbility with older wallets - would it confuse any service/wallet that accepts incoming transactions? Wallets only care about which outputs are theirs to spend, it doesn't matter what inputs they came from. So it doesn't matter if your input is from a legacy address(1.....), np2wkh(3......), p2wkh(bc1.....). Bitcoin transactions consume UTXOs and produce new ones. In short, no. Users withdrawing funds to their legacy/older wallets would have no problems recognizing transactions created by spending native segwit inputs. Additionally, you'll save 23 bytes per input when consuming native segwit (p2wkh/bc1...) inputs versus nested segwit inputs, which can result in a significant savings in fees over time. EDIT: They might however have trouble displaying a "from" address however, as an older wallet wouldn't know how to display it (in bech32 format). I'm not sure if this would cause any problems, and it would be per-wallet.

Additionally Ethan, I was meaning to ask how yolo stores/displays ETH values. Are values stored in wei, or are they stored to the 8th decimal place like Bitcoin/Litecoin? I'm having some small issues parsing and displaying ETH values because I was assuming the values were in wei

Admin, I've wrote you 4-6 emails I've wrote you pm yesterday But my problem is still there I think it is a time to solve it Contrary to popular belief, spamming a support email will likely annoy whoever might try to help you and persuade them to place their attention elsewhere. Be patient like everyone else. Ethan is running basically a one man show between programming new stuff for the site, maintaining what we have and ensuring everything with the ETH launch is running smoothly, and handling support requests. Most support requests are handled within 24 hours, as long as you provide any pertinent information, unless Ethan is out of town (which he's not at the moment). EDIT: However, I will forward your query to Ethan to make sure he sees it when he wakes up (~6-10 hours from now).

It's fine. There will be some minor issues with some wallets/services not seeing them until they confirm (as from their point of view, they're non-standard), but not really a big deal at all as soon as it confirms it'll show up

Check out gamblingsitefinder.com for a decent list/rankings of crypto casinos. Note: I have no affiliation or interest in it, and don't even agree with all the rankings ... but it's the only uncorrupted review site I'm aware of.

Thanks for info!

Yes it's pretty crazy at how little 24 ETH is at the moment. Just a couple months ago that would of been worth over $33K. You could of bought a new german luxury car for that much money. And today that's only like $9000. Can't even buy a Kia for that much.

Wait, how is the prize is distributed on the leaderboard?
https://yolodice.com/#bonusYou can simply calculate it by using the numbers from the guaranteed prize pool of 10 ETH. E.g. the 1st place (currently occupied by the illustrious dooglus himself) gets 40 % of the total prize pool, the 2nd place gets 20 % of the total prize pool, the 3rd place gets 10 % of the total prize pool... @ethan_nx Thank you for the full integration of bech32 support (I was one of the users, who requested this change a few weeks ago)! It is great that you were able to complete the integration this fast in spite of working on other stuff like support for ETH.

I am glad I could do it and people are actually using it! So.. are you using simple hosts file or something fancy like dnsmasq?
I am not sure I am getting this question... Now regarding the competition - it's hugely EV+ for players now - it's enought to wager ~8.7 ETH (which would theoretically cost you 0.087 ETH) to get to the 20th place, but the current prize for 20th place is 2.25 ETHSimilar is true for all other prizes except 1st - prizes are much higher than the cost to get to the leaderboard. Sure, all can change, but right now - I'd start playing myself if this wasn't ethically improper :-) Cheers, Ethan

That might be the most beautiful promotional graphic I've ever seen.
