make it below 3% imo.
open to invest in the exchange BR too.

next step is opening LTC + ETH BR investment opportunity if I am not wrong?

I used to run an exchange bot on the site. I was losing money because of the exchange rate fluctuation. You're asking too much for the service being provided.

When I think of an exchange bot operating I think of this process:

Someone wants to exchange BTC for LTC.
The bot quotes the rate at your favorite exchange subtracting a 1% fee.
They give you BTC for your LTC and then at the same time you buy back LTC on Binance/Bitfinex/Bittrex and pay at most a trading fee of .25%.
You code the bot to do that instantly, once they give you the BTC, and you lock in a certain profit every time.

3% seems excessive to me, so I hope ethan doesn't mind if others come in and compete with that exchange rate.
Dude this process isn't easy as you think you first need funds on both the sites first on the exchange and then on the site
Second how many people will actually use this exchange as you know most people on gambling sites just abuse the faucet system and try there luck this would simply waste funds it's better to start a new exchange rather than doing so much hardwork

It may be a lot of work for you, but not for everyone. He who considers doing this should have a decent amount of funds in various coins and not mind having them in different places.
Dude but as he mentioned you need to verify your exchange account and it's more a gambling site with this they will have to pay taxes for all the profits they make on the site overall this is the worst idea it's a simple exchange and a decent for a gambling site with less fees compared to other gambling sites

That's an inconvenience for him, that doesn't mean it applies to everyone who is considering providing a service such as this.
Seriously this isn't some thread in exchange section this topic has been raised on a ann thread of a gambling so why the heck it matters if someone else wants to do this it's clear this feature can't be implemented on yolodice simple

It doesnt really matter, I'm just saying that others may make competing exchange bots and I hope that is permissible.

It doesn't matter at the end yolodice is still a gambling site as i said currently as far as i remember crypto games also has a similar exchange and from what i remember thete fees is like 7% or somewhere near seeing that yolodice is still in a really good position if you compare with competition

the exchange is great and the fee is more than reasonable , at the end of the day they aren't forcing you to use it so still a good option for micro gamblers maybe if btc fees went crazy high like it was few months ago
hopefully the other investment tabs will open soon , cause so far I'm really satisfied with bitcoin investment there  Smiley

There won't be "other" bots.  We only have two authorized bots, HAL and AM.  If someone tries to make one without permission, it will be muted.  RGBKey got explicit permission from ethan_nx to run AM in chat.

It is not a fully fledged exchange per se. So there is no need to use bots and as Randall has mentioned already, any attempt to try to use a bot in chat will undoubtedly be muted for the 35 billion seconds they put to permanent banned accounts on the site.
As someone else mentioned another site has a similar service to interexchange between their own players alt coin balances, so it does not require this much of a discussion as it already has been getting between the two members on the thread already.
It is as adaptive of these changes in the market price of each coin and does it on the fly.
They do not show you these changes so you just need to trust in that site's exchange rate, which they do not disclose which one they use by the way!
But yolodice's exchange shows you this price adjustment you are getting live which is pretty much intuitive in itself.

Ethan uses more than one exchange to determine the rates, so that if one of them were to fail or have issues delivering price estimates, the exchange rates wouldn't be disturbed, too. Smiley

I'm not going to argue if everyone's fine with it. Like SyGambler said, you can either use it or not use it - it's the free market. I agree that it could be convenient for micro stakes players.

probably only micro exchanges will happen with such high fees...I'll rather withdraw to exchange and convert coins there.

The simplistic exchange service main goal I think is to avoid high network fees when withdrawing your winnings and you might be spending more to the preferred method you are talking about. Giving a more lower fees will make YoloDice's exchange be abuse by people who wants to take advantage of their low fees. First of all they are a gambling site and their exchange service is not their main business. It is sort of their way of giving gratitude towards their members. Good job for YOLOdice on future proofing and providing a better service overall on your site.

It's only beneficial to use the site exchange if you want to convert a small portion of earnings we can't expect people depositing to yolodice just to exchange coins as that would be pure dumbness

You must be wrong, not all exchange on gambling site have this kind of fee. Yes they do charge some fee to pay but not as much as you just mentioned right away. Already did that before and try which is the best and the simplest way. And the result goes to exchange directly from shapeshift or whatever that they applied. You need to take your time try it to make sure of what I said

Haven't been playing for a while. It's nice to see that ETH is accepted now and an internal exchange is integrated, the exchange fee might be a bit too high though, especially if the amount goes higher.

It is high but the exchange was started recently itself so don't expect the fees to change in short run I'm sure ethan is thinking over the fees but again don't expect it to be like 0.1% like it's on the exchange as yolodice is still a gambling site and the price fluctuations can also after them significantly

Hmm...  Nobody else has complained of any of those kinds of issues, have you tried cleaning out your cache/cookies and maybe restarting your internet?  I've been online all day and didn't have any issue, nor heard of anyone else having similar issues.

If the issues persist after you've done what I suggested, you could send an email to yolodice@zoho.com and contact Support.

I think the issue is that once the LTC bankroll is public, he won't be able to run any more LTC promos like the ones he ran recently.
