Now bitcoin price is over 800$. More and more people will start searching about bitcoin
You are right. The people that really uses the internet every day knows about bitcoin and fewer are the ones that actually use it , because they either think of it as a useless thing other thing on or they find it complicating , but also the lack of support for the bitcoin by the community made it even harder to come across it  but I think that in the near future everyone will know about it.

Until they make their first step. Create a wallet and make a transaction. They will fill more secure and will search even more.

In my last post the price was close to 800$ and now is 900$!

So true. I would say that only 1% of the population of the world knows bitcoins. If it is not 1% probably below 5%. This is probably why there aren't many companies or establishment accepts bitcoins as of yet. However, I believe in bitcoin and maybe in the near future it would be accepted by more people. If it does we would see more people using it in everyday lives.

One of the main reason, in my opinion, why not many company adopt bitcoin because of their concern on the probable issue they will encounter in the future if the use Bitcoin or accept bitcoin in their company.  Big company have their own system and does not automatically accept or make any changes.  They need to deal with it carefully because the future of their company rely in it.  They are always on the legalities of things to protect their reputation.

I already did the same thing before to some restaurant here in my country but only one time after I asked one of their crew if they are accepting bitcoin for payment she asked what's bitcoin sir ? and then I said "uhm nothing miss" just to not make a long conversation about it Grin even some of my campus mates who has the same course with me didn't know what is bitcoin . maybe it is just lack of exploration because most people around the world only minds what are the common trends on social media and they don't mind what are the trends about technology .

Probably, unless the coin becomes one of the most usable and trustable currencies in the physical world the companies cannot really take a risk of adopting it as they know it wont be good for them if something happens in future which may put some affect on their company.

As quoted bitcoin to get the physical form for offline store usage is really hard. Only very few were aware as well started using different wallets for their needs. Even now there are many companies that have made big investments on bitcoin indirectly.

Most people here in my country never heard of it. The number of people who do are increasing though. We have a lot of options for cashing-in/out so there would be no excuse for people to say that it's hard to use.

Every time I go to the bank I like to ask them if they have heard of BTC, most of the time the answer is no.
I do ask a lot of people about BTC.. a restaurant near me.. near ish use to accept it as well, I asked to pay with it, they said it no longer exists.. .... ...

Most people I find still have zero idea what BTC is unless they are friends with the likes of us.. I don't think we are even in early adoption stage.. we are in "the chasm" .. it would appear we are going to survive though... appear anyways..

I dunno just something I have taken note of.

Pretty much everyone that has heard of it assumes it's worth like 5 cents and shits themselves when I say it's $1k (Cad) .. we are in very interesting times with BTC.
I think so, we're just like a grain of sand on the beach.
Bitcoin circle around people on this forum, devs, miners and big investors.
I believe on advantages of bitcoin, something new in financial services will attract people but lack of information that hinder new comers.

Well there is no harm done by having absolutely zero knowledge about Bitcoin. What I mean is you are asking people who are working in a bank, obviously they are more concentrated on Fiat rather than focus on something they cannot invest with. Also I still consider Bitcoin as a new kind of currency that still needs to be accepted by businesses.

This has never been a reason (let alone a main reason)

It seems that you refer to an accounting system (or something to that tune) which may be crafted for a specific currency (say, the US dollar). But that's outright bullshit. Could you imagine that some company would refuse from profits they could obtain by trading internationally just because "their own system" didn't "automatically accept" or allow "any changes"? If Bitcoin is legal and it is legal to trade with it, ultimately, it is only a matter of profit margins and time when companies run for these profits

Knowing of bitcoin and knowing about it are really quite different... I heard of it as far back as 2013 and was even asked about it properly in 2014... but I knew as much then as I did in August 2016, a month before I opened my first wallet!

Same here.. And they do not even trust it because it's virtual, so it's pretty hard to convince them! I heard of Bitcoin in 2013 and I was lucky because I was in Austria and there the media showed that it had reached $1000 and it made Bitcoin extremely interesting, but otherwise I would have not known about it right now.

Most of the people here in a country or in the world doesn't know bitcoin because of the lack in news or even updates on social medias, If they introduce bitcoin on different social media where the mainstream is then it will help bitcoin to be famous and very well known in different country. Bitcoin just need promotion and after that the number of people who doesn't know bitcoin will be lessen.

An endorse is needs, especially if it's use by a hype celebrity.
Bitcoin has been appeared in some news (it's appeared in my country news channel), but the people attention is low, they just see as a "pass-news" related to technology.
And also I doubt people will learn how bitcoin works, when they just care about their social media accounts.

Support something new is indeed quite difficult to do (to get famous and higher), because things change requires things that can provide confidence by all the people and not for some people. There are several causes that makes them ignore the latest technology of the bitcoin, namely because they feel enough in revenue they get or they assume that bitcoin is a technology that is still lacking enough to known or used

This is true. I would accept Zimbabwean dollars for my sales if it were profitable. But I don't have anything they want and I dont sell enough to be bothered how to use it (which is a similar mentality to a lot of businesses unfortunately).

That is a good step for the success of your country and the citizens of your country if you will teach them about bitcoin and will tell them how to use and where to use bitcoin then bitcoin will spread in your country and more people will work for it and will be used in your country with more advancement.

Yeah, They saw bitcoin as a pass-news on news channels and they just thought that bitcoin is just another hype technology which is just for profit for others but they didn't know what are the good advantages of using bitcoin. If their attention are on social medias then put the news on it and try to explain bitcoin is a very simple way which anyone can understand so it won't be that hard to learn.
