VAT number (confirmed) is already posted on the first page, and I have confirmed a few posts up that he is who he claims to be.

Asking for this:
http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/?locale=en

But someone should check people-address-VAT  in person.

Elacoin-ELC,Betacoin-BET,Neutroncoin-NTRN,Americancoin-AMC,Stronghands-SHND,Craftcoin-CRC,DOGE,BCH,BTC,...,Bitcoin,...(and a lot more)
Linux updated wallets (source code) for: ELC, BET, AMC, NKT, SLING, CRC,...
[if (blocknumber > 115000) maxblocksize=largerlimit]   [I don't think the threshold should ever be 0.  We should always allow at least some free transactions.]
The forum strives to allow free discussion of any ideas. All policies are built around this principle. This doesn't mean you can post garbage, though: posts should actually contain ideas, and these ideas should be argued reasonably.

Yea, got it the first time... and I was essentially telling you, but with slightly less words:

a) read https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=170332.msg1771390#msg1771390
b) go to VIES webpage
c) enter "SE - Sweden"
d) fill in the VAT number you found in (a) in the field below (without the "SE" since it's not numbers but letters).
e) press verify at the bottom of the page.

Response:
"Yes, valid VAT number"

I'm sure they will arrange something when they are ready... or at least I hope so.

May I suggest you contact Rick Falkvinge, founder of the Swedish Pirate Party, when you have something to show? He's living in Stockholm, and is a well known figure in parts of the internet community. He has also shown great interest in Bitcoin, and he's a really smart man. If you can convince him you are legitimate, you have also convinced me and (I suspect) many others. I'm not really sure he'd lend his name to vouch for you, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

elebit  - have you met them personally yet?

Dear kncminer,

I live within almost walking distance from your office, and I will be happy to come over some time and see if your miner hardware works as advertised.

If I can test run it against my p2pool node and benchmark how long it takes to find an accepted block and everything checks out fine you would have yourself a customer as well.you

Size: 285.75 mm x 406.40 mm x 482.6 mm

60 x 30 x 30

Assuming cm and not in., otherwise it'll be the size of a dinner room table.

Thus 60cm x 30cm x 30cm is the size of kncminer's box. (~2' x 1' x 1')

Surely, you have at least a box to show us. We're not greedy! No need to show us the fans.

Here's even a better request: How about a pic of you two standing next to each other--Bengt Mikael Andreas Kennemar and Samuel James Cole?

Boy, lots of hate around here. I thought I was full of hate.

Listen, if the company here has been in business for a while they no undoubtedly have business documents with dates on them. Ones that would be perfectly find for the public to see. Purchase order, invoices, charges, any kind of statements with a letter head and a date. Obviously not some word document that was just made with a logo on the top of it. A business that has been working for many years has thousands of documents just sitting in the office. Please just scan some of these to prove you guys have been around, working and doing business. This is very easy and simple to do. Thanks.

Ok, I have received a PM from a person stuck in newbie jail, who wanted to share some information, and believes s/he has found enough evidence for this to be a scam, so I am copying verbatim the PM I have received, after I offered him/her to post it on his/her behalf:

Awesome that will be great okay here is the rundown:

I have found more damning evidence

http://www.advantshop.net/

There site is hosted by a Russian e-commerce provider which can only be paid for in Russian ruble!

This if anything should suggest a SCAM - Why would a genuine Swedish business host in russia and pay in russian ruble.

Also my original post was to be:

"This is an interesting one which I am little suspicious of.

I am certainly interested in this sort of development but it is amazing how light-in-detail the proposals are.

It does seem strange that so much is left for the forum user to try and substantiate

Having had a look at your website and registered my interest I have had a look at the source code and one thing stands out as odd. You have a russian website tracker http://metrika.yandex.ru/

Now this is very odd!! Your typical european would not choose do do their Web Analytics with a package the from Russia and written in Russian. Your average Swede does not speak Russian so why would you choose this over Google Analytics, Yahoo Analytics, Woopra etc etc which are free and global.

Yandex.ru 'Worldwide' caters for:

Belarus
Kazakhstan
Russia
Turkey
Ukraine

Here is some information about Yandex from Wikipedia

Yandex (Russian: Яндeкc) is a Russian Internet company which operates the largest search engine in Russia with about 60% market share in that country.[3] It also develops a number of Internet-based services and products. Yandex ranked as the 4th largest search engine worldwide, based on information from Comscore.com, with more than 150 million searches per day as of April 2012, and more than 50.5 million visitors (all company's services) daily as of February 2013.[4] The company's mission is to provide answers to any questions users have or think about (explicit or implicit).[5] Yandex also has a very large presence in Ukraine and Kazakhstan, holding nearly third of all searches in each country's individual market and nearly a half (43%) of all searches in Belarus.[6]
The Yandex.ru home page has been rated as the most popular website in Russia.[7] Yandex attracts more than 56 million users from all over the world.[8] The web site also operates in Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Ukraine and Turkey.[9] Another company, Yandex Labs, is a wholly owned division of Yandex that is located in the San Francisco Bay Area.

All very good if you are Russian probably not so good if you are from Stockholm.

This literally does not make any sense whatsoever unless you are Russian posing as Swedish."

This is a total scam by a russian outfit DO NOT PAY ANY MONEY

Well, after I got this PM, I have actually confirmed the russian tracker/analytic presence in the source - you can do this too, just go to kncminer website, and view source, and search for it. I have kept a screenshot as well.

However, this does not prove anything other than there is a russian tie here, and the person who PM'd me mentioned it is very fishy to have such tie. I am sure s/he will post more once out of newbie jail.

On the bottom of the page of their partner website http://kennemarandcole.se/ is the street address Drotninggaten 71C Stockholm which is spelled incorrectly. It should be Drottninggatan 71 C Stockholm (2 T's and an a instead of an e). Luckily, this time it's not a Mediterranean restaurant at a Bitcoin entity location--it's a Chinese Buffet, serving all the hash you can eat.

Also, one of the email addresses is sales@kandc.se, of which kandc.se is a parked domain. I may need to be enlightened as to how one retrieves emails from a parked domain.

I have to admit, these guys are good.

You sound like a betting man. Allow me to hedge that bet for you. You order two units within the next 48 hours, and when they arrive, you keep one, and I'll buy the other one off you at double the price you paid, paying you first prior to you shipping to me.

You can't lose! If I renege, you'll still have two units and would be in position to give me a scammer tag.

Honestly, I kind of figured that, but maybe others can confirmed. But how do you explain the misspelling of the address of which their viable business is located? Surely it wasn't Latinized to cater to Americans.

Don't worry, they will. My money's on them accepting the request by the Newbie who's only walking distant from them. The last time something like this occurred, the person who was located literally across the street from another ASIC developer became their PR guy. I'm still jacking off over that decision. (quick aside: why the fuck does my spellchecker suggest jerking over jacking?)
