I'm running a RIG with GTX1070 all with same overclock and power setting 65% power +100 GPU +600 MEM and I have often crash with error code Thread exited with code: 46
anyone can help me ?
Chips VARY - it's inherent to the semiconductor manufacturing process, and has gotten worse with each generation of process as the size of the "features" on the chip gets closer to the size of atoms the chip is made out of. ZEC isn't memory intensive, unlike ETH - try dropping the overclock on your memory ENTIRELY.

Thanks again dev! Regarding the above view. Is there a way to have all my rigs show up on one browser using the API command?

lol.. zcash4Win says its mining without any of my cards running. Or building a blockchain... I have no idea. I would think the dev fee would be sufficient for constant support? If I had a dev fee, I would help everyone make me richer!

Would love to see those figures Could you please help me, have a rig with 4x1050ti+2x1060 6 Gb, EBWF freezes and soon restarts computer without error code. Guess no HW error, same rig runs smoothly on ETH, all 6 cards working fine. Tried to disable 2x1060, enable and lower intensity, disable 4x1050, run rig without afterburner, no advance...

Re: testing cards...
If you can use that specific card for your on-screen video, run Furmark (it will stress the gpu, I use the burn in default). Slowly increase the clock (and apply, because I've forgotten occassionally). You will eventually hit a point where the gpu can't get pushed anymore (usually obvious, like screen freezes) I've only had it freeze the application and Win 10 stayed up and running without issue. It can take some time, particularly if you have multiple cards. I still feel this is the best way, as you can also do the same for the memory oc and look for issues to pop up as well. With the 1070's I've had for gaming, you'll usually hit a gpu overclock that you can't go past regardless of voltage. For example, the current one I have is +202. It's completely stable doing that from 65% power upwards (though voltage will limit the oc amount, but you're going for efficiency anyway). +203 and it doesn't matter if I overvolt it, it will still crash at some point.
Another way would be to set up some way for the miner to close and restart. I'm using the following in the bat file to start the app. Found this setup with a google search, and it does the job. For below to work, you have to add "eexit 3" so the miner closes and this can start it. If not it will just stay in the miner and keep kicking out errors.
@Echo off :Start miner echo Program terminated at %Date% %Time% with Error %ErrorLevel% >> D:\logs\ewbfminer.log echo Press Ctrl-C if you don't want to restart automatically ping -n 10 localhost
goto Start
Again you'll still be doing the minor incremental changes, but now you have to wait for the miner to crash out. That said this will keep restarting the miner if there is an issue (only good if the miner stays running for a decent period of time before crashing, or you're actual sol/s will be horrible)

Thanks for the response. How are you running so cool? I am getting 70's across the board. Fan set to auto. Please don't tell me 100% fan speed

PL 100 CC 0 MC -100 to +300 Fan 65 730 Sol/s Same results if I raise the core clock with or without a lower PL

Overclock the memory does not have much effect. For the AMD R9 390, I increase the memory from 1000MHz to 1250MHz, increase the hash by 5%.

you put this command in the .bat? --api 127.0.0.1:42000?
Oh Yes. I've tried it. I've searched many posts and everywhere it's suggested to use some or the other IP config in API but still the API shows Disabled status when I run the miner. Any other solutions?

Nanopool has got some major issues.. Switch to another pool for shares til they fix the problem.. Been going on for over 40 minutes now. Check all the major miners, all dropping like flies in shares.

I have to overclock the memory as much as I can in order to max out my hash rate.

Probably because they got used to ETH where it IS needed for max hashrates, and on a FEW cards it might actually help with ZEC hashrates as well. ZEC isn't nearly as memory-intensive as ETH though - a lot of my cards could max out ETH hashrate by maxing memory clock but running at stock OR LOWER core clock (which made them more efficient with NO loss of hashrate).
