Any trading bot is software. So it has to run on a computer somewhere.

You can run it on your own computer. But if you turn your computer off, or if your power goes out, computer crashes, other people using it, if your internet goes down, etc, the software obviously can't function.

So instead, if possible, you have another computer - a private server on the internet, that you basically rent for a small fee. Such a server will live in a datacentre - facilities designed and built exactly for this purpose - which is high performance, reliable, online 24/7, and you can run the software there instead without having to worry about the problems faced with running it at home. The better the environment the software runs in, the better it can perform for you.

Working with such a server does require technical knowledge and skill though.

trying to trade, been running a day, BBs at 25/25 and 24/27, still always just says "price too high" on trex BTC/ETH
Tried typing in FTC/BTC but it errored out.  Suggestions?

 Price too high literally means the trend watcher saying "don't buy from this price or you will have a bag" so be glad it says price too high

 Sometimes when the markets are just wrong, you may not buy anything for a while, whereas when the markets are just right, you buy and sell constantly, it is not a thing about the bot itself but about the markets not being good for botting.

I just started having a problem with Gunbot.

Was working 2 days ago fine. I stopped it a while to see about tweaking the values, etc.

Today started it up and in the status window it keeps saying stuff like the sample I post for every pair I set. I double checked my API keys and nothing has changed .
