It's strange, but on 1.1.17 amount of finded shares became less than it was in 1.1.16... Pool where I mine all day shows accepted speed about 10-20% less than it must to be...
I see a strange drop in profitability on cryptonight.usa.nicehash.com. You are using NiceHash, too, right? Let me check other pools...

I don't see any problems with Nanopool... Oh well.

GGS takes 1Gb of Memory and 30-50% of CPU (Pentium G4400). Any way to run it without GUI? GUI is too slow and take to much of resources.
Thanks

I have 3 cards 8+8+4Gb=20Gb videomemory and GGS with monitor uses about 250Mb of RAM and periodically CPU load jumps from 0 to 1%. AMD FX 8320. Mining cryptonoght algorythm. Problem is in your system, but not GGS.

GGS is more resource-intensive than the original GG partly because it is written in C#. This makes the development process so much faster, but the downside is that, well, it requires more resources. I am planning to make a stripped-out, minimalist command-line version, but it requires a ton of work and I probably won't get to it soon. I think it makes more sense to work on it after I implement automatic algorithm switching. We will see.

Current Roadmap (Subject to Change)
1. Over-Clocking Settings (a few days?) 2. Visual Studio extension for GCN assembly (a week?) 2. Equihash (a week or two?) 3. On-the-fly memory timing mods and other optimizations (two weeks?) 4. Automatic algorithm switching (a week?) 5. Refactoring (a few days?) 6. Command-line version (a week?)
So much work... Oh well.

All right, IMHO. Memory timings is on the p.1 or it's in more distant future?

It falls under #3. I just updated the roadmap.

How do I run this without the GUI in windows? Is there a silent mode? TIA
You cannot do that at the moment. For those that want to run this in the background, you can use SrvMan (link below) to create an automatic-loading win32 process. Set your settings in advance and make sure you check all the automatic mining options that you want so that the program just starts mining when opened. To change settings, force end the task, then run GGS and reboot. http://tools.sysprogs.org/srvman/Command-line would be nice, but I'm happy with this solution. I am still running 1.1.7, it seems to work better than some of the later ones. Thanks for the hard work Zawawa.

It falls under #3. I just updated the roadmap. Love your new sharp miner, pretty much the best neoscrypt miner out there. Keep up the great work. BTW, since you're very keen in all this, what are your thoughts on Vegas for neoscrypt? They perform worse than RX cards, yet RX cards have about the same hashrate on neoscrypt that they have on cryptonight. I just wonder if we are still very early in terms of optimizations or if it's just a card that will always suck at that algo.

I think Equihash support is the most important thing. It's the most profitable algo right now.

It's most profitable only on Geforce cards. On AMD cards most profitable cryptonight or ethereum dual modes.
