Yes it is very sad to see........ 15 hours of efforts on x17 ....... suddenly gone ....... all orphan...... Lost 0.0015 BTC
But it's nobody's fault. So no matter how depressing it is .....let's just continue.

@crackfoo you call us greedy whinners, BUT... it taked 10-12 hours when we mined and it gone to the hole. You should read something about proper customer service and about treating of customers to keep them at your side. When you use casual phrases (maybe well known to 'legendary') thinking that all your customers must be experts, you show how unimportant they are for you. I really dont need to know what 'the wallet forked' means to mine on your pool, but you need to care about your service and your customers, expecially for new ones. This is really sad, that as popular pool has as customer-ignorant team.

I mine here because I get more profits here than at any other pool I've tried.  For me if I got no customer service I'd still mine here because I can't make as many profits elsewhere.

the uptime easily makes up for the small lose in downtime/fork coin

your algood crackfoo, i cant really image trying to keep all 280 individual coin blockchains and wallets update to date you do a great job.. every one is very quick to play the blame game when somthing goes wrong..

It is undisscussable that zpool with very fast autoexchange is most easy to start pool. But when you mine on 1 gpu and after ~2 weeks you are reaching payout limit and then earning from last day is gone, you could be not happy - and it should be obvious, that pool team knows a few savoir vivre words.

Once the wallet comes back online;  all of the valid earnings that weren't on a bad chain will be re-credited to you AFAIK...

But;  these problems happen.... To everyone.  It has happened to me.  Zpool wasn't the only one mining on that chain either;  it can be a cluster or large group...

Look at it another way:

If you are mining to your own wallet, and it forks;  are you going to go screaming at yourself expecting funds to magically pay you because you didn't know it forked possibly for a day or two and earned a lot less than you thought in that time?

Minerx is right;  Imagine what it takes to keep hundreds of coin wallets online constantly.   No small chore.

in my opinion zpool team shoud in api (with prices) that show to us profitability, disable x17 and myr-gr algos and nobody mined that coins, they didn't do that and i think it will be fair to pay for those period!

Is Luxcoin (phi) on any exchanges yet?  If not, where is the price/profitability derived from?

The pool API does show profitability and prices.....

You do not understand how the pool code works then.  you can not do that.  you can only let stratum serve you work.   Stratum picks its own work, not the pool operator, not us.

And maybe its time to enable in Nemos miner to have an option to choose what coin to mine

1.change BTC address to yours

2.select how many gpu's you have eg: (1gpu ewbf 0 cc 0) (default 2 gpu ewbf 0 1 cc 0,1) (6gpu ewbf 0 1 2 3 4 5 cc 0,1,2,3,4,5)

3.remove any algos you do not want to mine (default all supported algos enabled)

4.there is a default 5minute per day fee, that can be disabled by changing -Doante 5 to 0

5.run start.bat

step 3.

I've been mining Decred at roughly 2GH/s for nearly a week and nothing has posted. Is that normal?

Yeah last decred block was hit 2w ago.  If you click on decred you can see the latest blocks hit by the pool.  You did get teased with an orphan 28h ago, unfortunately.

Thanks. Guess I'll switch to a different Decred pool. I've still got my Nvidia rig dualmining lbry - is there a better choice?

You're welcome.  There are better options than dual mining lbry in my opinion.  Check out nemosminer so that you're always on the most profitable coin. Smiley
