I think the best mental methodology to trading is to learn from your mistakes and not spend too much time on regretting your decisions. You have made a mistake, but now you will be able to avoid it as part of the learning process.

The less you think about your loss the better it will be for you.

Greetings!

While trading sometimes I drop back from my original plan. Such emotional decisions often bring loss cuz I tend to change orders on panic or when I mistakenly expect more potential income. How do you deal with that if you feel the same way?
If I lose in the trading I do not let my emotions and feelings carried away. I always trying to recall to myself that it is part of our life and I will go in relaxing places to relived my stress.

You shoud start trading with small amount. Keep on doing and make a habit of experiencing loss to control your own emotions. If you start trading with a huge amount, you will most likely be discouraged or eventually stop trading when you experience loss.
Yes, that’s a sincere piece of advice. We should never jump into trading with large capital because lack of experience can put us in loss and make us hate trading. Trading is a business that not only requires skills but great control over emotions. Many people lose money just because of their sentimental decisions. Trading should involve brain not heart.

Nicely put there that trading should only involve with brain and not heart. This is true and effective because when we are too emotional with trading, we most of the time get to sell too early or buy too late. But with fixed plan and emotionless trading plan, we are good to go.

That's one of the hurdles traders face when they start trading. It's one of my problems too when I just started trading because it's hard to control your emotion when you see your trade not going your way. I have no trading plan at first because I thought that when I knew what are the basics like chart, patterns etc. then I would have a profitable trade but then what I'm not ready for are the emotions involved in trading which is a very big factor. Through time, I was able to manage my emotions by having a trading plan and as long as I follow it then I would minimize my loss and have profitable trades.

Eventually if you keep learning from your mistakes you will be able to control your emotion, I know it's hard because we all started
as newbie but with full knowledge and continues education it will help us to be more stronger and to give the ability to execute our trading strategy.

This is a common thing for everyone to get into panic and also this panic increases more and more with the increase in the investment in the coins because loss or profit associated with it will more than what we have in small . And also if the investment by us in the trading is from that amount of money which are not our own ( loan from anyone or use of money from home directly) leads into more Pani Panic .
So usually i uses that amount of the bitcoin that i made earn and don't think that whether profit/ loss will be part of my trade , because my stretagy of trading says that if you bought any coin then forget that you have put any amount of the money anywhere/anycoin because anything can happen nothing is sure in this field  and everything is risky whether MONEY remains in your hand or any another persons hand .
So always we should remain -ve that we will got only loss Smiley and control your hand for the cancel of the trading with the particular coin if that seems to be profitable .

If you feel the need to manage your emotions when it comes to finances that perhaps somebody else should handle your finances. Anyone over the age of 18 should have learned to handle their finances, their business and their trading without using emotions to make their decisions. Emotions have absolutely nothing to do with it.

If I lose in the trading I do not let my emotions and feelings carried away. I always trying to recall to myself that it is part of our life and I will go in relaxing places to relived my stress.
That is what exactly should be done under such circumstances. Losing a game in trading is not an end of the life. Whether you win or lose, life goes on and trading is not easy at all. To learn a bit and piece of trading, one needs to work hard to gain knowledge about different coins etc.

Be patient and do your hobbies instead of watching the chart. It will drive you crazier. Looking at the chart will make you less patient and you can sell your coin at anytime. Therefore, if your coins go down, do not worry, do what you want to do except trading and come back when the price is more stable Wink

And I react very painfully to the loss of coins. I'm very annoyed when I do not succeed in selling coins at a very good price.
But I calm myself by the fact that I got a good lesson.
I can not control my emotions during the trade, I'm very greedy

yes gaining knowledge about bitcoin makes you win in the trading game, and one thing you must do is work with patience and do not ever greed for more bitcoin because it will result in eventually loss and there is nothing left except deep regret emotions. So do you work with calm and start earning you profit gradually, that’s how you can get more then you want.

If it is your heart to make decisions in trading and you expect a chocolate cake, you have to wake up. If a trader losses more, majority of the times the reason is emotional trading. To buy in hurry and sell it late and there you get loss as well said. Trader must control emotions and only thing that should be working is brain and make decisions according to price chart analysis.

Yeah so true. I watch the exchange every now and then and when I see my coins that aren't doing well I just shrug off and I just think that maybe this not the day. Instead I divert my attention into something. Like if you look everytime in exchange you will be dissapointed if things don't go well and as your emotions and thoughts will be on trouble as a result you can have some decisions that aren't necessary.

That is a good way of getting rid of tensions of losses. But I have another way as well. Use different kind of strategies on lower level of trading. Try to invest that much amount of which you can afford the loss. And try to discuss it with someone trust worthy. Sharing will keep you relaxed. Try to be more social. And whenever you get any loss just let it go and be positive.
Train yourself as often as possible , so you will get used to it yeaaa.
You could directly uses a huge amount as long as you can afford to lose it.
Always take a break for a while after you get a nice profit or when you get a bad move.

Take a break if you are not doing well but if you are getting consistent profit then continue what you are doing.
It's very important to take a break when we are losing so we could analyze what are our mistakes and on a timely manner we will be able to adjust it to make it work again. Not all the time we make profit, that's part of the journey, therefore it's needed to adjust every time we lose.

Exactly and I can confirm that it works. I would like to share my experience in this regard, there was a time when I saw my 2 days old portfolio was showing the loss of around 35% but as I was having my limited study and detailed research with me, I stood with my investment and stopped tracking portfolio performance for a while. Then I think, within a month or so I not only covered that 35% loss but also made 12% profit of the same portfolio without changing anything in it. Thus patience is highly recommended if the investment is backed by the study and research.

Not only adjusting ourselves going to relaxing places we have to control our feeling because after relaxing again we have to sit in front of the trading only. So we have to control ourselves and emotions when we made a mistake and we have to realize ourselves to overcome that.

Before, I could not control my emotions for a long time, but then I began to follow a clear plan, no matter what, and my stub profit was more stable than when I was giving in to emotions.

Great decision, you should leave the way use your emotions for trading, a clearly plan and prepare some strategy for any bad situation on market, even if you met worst situation, you still can keep your calm and never have wrong decisive make you regret in future.
