Thanks a lot.
Did read the WP but decided to find out.
Most of todays fine ICOs send some kind of tokens or at least appear some balance in inner backoffice after sending ETH|BTC. But Tezos just received the transaction and did nothing in return)

There is no other option except holding Tezos continuous. It is critical timing which is like who will try to make some money will remain behind and will be thrown out of the game. It is one of the very few projects of which price should not be watched at this point.

It is still too early to worry about the release date. You can follow them on twiter to know the latest update so far. Cosmos (atom) did raise $18m in their ICO a couple of months before Tezos, yet they are not in exchanges up till now.
Tezos stated in their overview paper that their mainet will go live between 3 - 4 months after TGE or it could take a lil bit longer.

Coin has not been released yet and therefore, there's no way to get your coins.
The tezos that are being traded are IOU tokens. You are basically trading the coins that the exchange claims it has bought
during the ico and that it promises to exchange into real coins when the coin is released.
This usually leads to a limited supply and therefore higher prices and involves the risk, that the exchange sells more tokens
than it had actually bought.
That's why I stay away from IOU tokens.

EOS has only a idea for now and nothing in general while Tezos is in development for 4 years. |

i dont know...price is 3x ICO HitBtc offers future coins/tokens from their own investment. Personally I won't buy anything there (price is over inflated most of the time). |

I wonder if today's bitcoin fork has any implications on Tezos's strategy. Since all the BTC they have was received prior to August 1st...they theoretically could start offloading bitcoin cash as soon as it becomes possible for them.
They have a ton of bitcoin that they said that they were going to strategically offload a portion hopefully to institutional investors so that they didn't lower the market prices

I can add that the advertising project was very much and the fact that the coins will be distributed after a certain period of time will also add the possibility of growth of the asset. |

I would love to see that that means we will have 3-4X profit when it launches. I think tezos can take over eth easily. There is a chance bcc might do that earlier than tezos. I hope tezos will be listed in all big exchanges after the launch. After all they have so much extra money from the bcc. They can spend some of it to get listed in all bigger exchanges. |
