I have a couple of questions.
1. Is there a way for the initial command prompt box not to open maximized full screen?
2. Can the miners command boxes not open minimized, but displayed?

I have been testing for the last 12 hours and so far only minor hang ups with windows trying to block some of the miners intermittently...

Thank you for your work on this!!
Rick

Hi there !

First of all, thanks Nemo for that great miner, I'm new to mining and I've been using it for the past few days without any issues.

Zpool website has been down for a few hours, and I can't start the miner after a reboot, I get an error.

It seems like it's trying to get some JSON from zpool, but can't access it because the site is down, so all he's getting is "Frontend offline to help reduce the load to catch up on the backlog of earnings in our DB.".

I don't have much knowledge in PowerShell, so does anyone knows if that JSON he's trying to access is needed in order to mine or is there a way to bypass it temporarily while zpool site is down ?

i'll look into it, my 6x test rigs and single 1070 gaming pc are still mining happily away at zpool... its just the webfrontend offline, for a while (won't be to long) mining stratum's are still open as far as i can tell

Regards
Nemo

Nemosminer is dead in water with zpool until they fix their interface if you restart your script.....  It can't get any pricing data to know what to hash.  Needs a fallback value in config to hash when unable to retrieve data.

if you want to still use zpool while api is down use this:

NemosMiner-v1.7.6-Zpool

https://github.com/nemosminer/NemosMiner-v1.7.6-Zpool/releases/download/NemosMinerv1.7.6/NemosMiner-v1.7.6-ZPOOL.zip

i just tested it myself on my gaming pc as 2.2.1 would not connect atm, but my old 1.7.6 still does : )

I just downloaded nemosminer 2.2.1

I have used older versions in the past before I switched over to nicehash, and it worked fine for me.  Now I have NOT updated my rigs (Windows).  Trying to use nemosminer 2.2.1, and starts the batch file and gets to transcript started, output file, xxxxxxxxx, and just sits there.  Not sure what is going on.  I have tried to turn off my antivirus and what not, still same thing.

I'm trying the zpool

Ok while I was typing this it looks like it started dling stuff, looks like miners but it took like 10 mins to start up?  Wierd.

Are you going to release Linux versions too, because there is a huge linux user base who are looking for these sort of profit switches (with nicehash status in mind).

Hi folks,

I'm using this with MiningPoolHub.  I'm not having much luck with the automatic algo switching.  I have disabled all algos except for Lyra2RE2 because that has been the most profitable.  On MiningPoolHub there is Vertcoin and Monacoin that have been switching back and forth on profitability.  I've noticed though that the Nemos Miner doesn't ever seem to refresh and switch from Monacoin to Vertcoin.  Here is my startup batch file:

powershell -version 5.0 -noexit -executionpolicy bypass -windowstyle normal -command "&.\NemosMiner-v2.2.1.ps1 -SelGPUEWBF '0' -SelGPUCC '0' -Currency USD -Passwordcurrency BTC -interval 120 -Username BigCreamy -Workername CREAMDADDY -Location US -PoolName miningpoolhub -Type nvidia -Algorithm Lyra2RE2 -Donate 5

I see the interval -120 command.   Should this check MPH every 2 minutes for the most profitable coin and switch?  What could be wrong to cause it to never switch? I'm using the MPH webpage to see what is most profitable.

Also,

The reason I had to disable all of the other algos is because Nemos would always start Eth mining.  I think that may be because the benchmarks are inaccurate and reports insane profits on the other algos.  Anyone have a tried and true method for proper benchmarks?  Or is it possible to manually enter hashrates tot he proper value?

Sorry for my n00bness. Thanks for any assistance.

Oh damn one last thing.... anyone have a good way to have Nemos restart automatically if something crashes?

Thanks and regards,

BigCreamy
