There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I originally have been having issues with X7 and X8 GPUS and I tried using 6 GPUS and it seems it is working now; although, I ran into a slight issue where it froze for about 3 minutes or so and then started again. Is it possible to implemented a restart of the miner if no shares have been submitted in X amount of time?

i don't have that problem... i have only tested with up2 6 GPU's....

how can autoalgo works correctly if it doesn't get right info from miner api (think this need to be fixed for those who like me uses 2 sessions).... i experienced some unreal value un profit.... i looked in code, and i can't find the miner launcher call to add that (just learning)...you can reproduce and test running 3 gpu on two miner session
still some -d $SelGPUCC needed

Hi Nemo,

Been messing with a few different multi-algo miners and am liking what you've done.   One thing I'd like to tweak is that I notice upon switching algos it always spends some time hunting for the optimal difficulty, I'm wondering if I can go ahead and set that number manually - knowing that it would be custom to my rig and will need to be tweaked if I add cards etc...I'm using the ZPOOL non 24 hour file.

Thanks in advance,

UPDATE

Think I figured this out:

You need to EDIT the algos respective miner with a multiplier.  Symbol -m.

My rig has 4 x 1080ti's and here is what my adjusted algo looks like in ccminerAlexis78:

"blake2s" = " -d $SelGPUCC -m 4" #Blake2s

Basically I noted what difficulty the algo started with and where it ended up and divided the end by the start.  that will be your multiple.  It appears to be working but I will take this down if something chimes in that this is incorrect.

So Far (for 4 x 1080ti's):

PHI @ -m 16
SIB @ -m 9
Skunk @ -m 3
Blake2s @ -m 3
X17 @ -m 16
HMQ1725 @ -m 36

What would cause this error? Intensity too high? How can I reduce it?

increase Virtual Memory for 6 1070's 64gb is needed

default intensity should be fine for 1070's (let me know how you get on) is it only tribus your finding that error?

you can reproduce and test running 3 gpu on two miner session ?? Why would you want to?? it runs fine if you just run 1 session... your trying to run two is when you will run in to problems, i know about the issue you are talking about but as i said all my 6 test rigs are not having any problems  im running 1060's 1070's and 1080ti's..  1 session per rig (No problems) it is something i will work on fixing in the future.. its just not a priority right now...

thanks i've updated those  -d $SelGPUCC

Best Regards

Hello Nemo. I'm now trying out your zpool miner (v2.2) and I am having an issue. Essentially, the setup process is smooth. Everything downloads with no errors or anything. I edited the 'startzpool.bat' to what I will post below, and it starts up and goes through the benchmarking fine but after the benchmarking it says:  Status Failed.

Also, check out the EWBF Equihash benchmark. I'm pretty sure ...... well what's up with that 466 number? Lol.

My bat file:
powershell -version 5.0 -noexit -executionpolicy bypass -windowstyle maximized -command "&.\NemosMiner-v2.2.ps1 -SelGPUEWBF '0 1 2 3 4 5' -SelGPUCC '0,1,2,3,4,5' -Currency USD -Passwordcurrency BTC -interval 120 -Wallet 38mAZJC36XtwPn1w7mBLTWzZC3DpBkfJ3e -Location US -PoolName zpool -Type nvidia -Algorithm hsr,phi,keccak,xevan,veltor,lyra2z,skunk,jha,tribus,c11,x11evo,lbry,skein,equihash,groestl,timetravel,sib,bitcore,hmq1725,x17,blakecoin,Nist5,MyriadGroestl,Lyra2RE2,neoscrypt,blake2s -Donate 5

And a screenshot. Please help. Lol. Thanks.

checked your screen shot... my guess is you haven't read Instructions Properly...

Increase Virtual Memory 64gb is optimal...  -  (Sib needs it) Sib is one of the only Algo's that Actually uses all of that 64gb Sib will not run if you do not increase it....

EWBF is perfect...   its say's 466 BTC/GH/DAY...  so if you have 1 ghs of equihash you would be getting 466 btc per day... very simple

Hi Nemo,

I found 2 versions of 2.2 online, one marked "Master" - I'm assuming this is the latest recommend?   The other has a few more miners in it....

possible to run 2 instances? how many gb virtual memory do i need?

running multiple cards its recommended to increase Virtual Memory 32gb-64gb is optimal
i asked if it was possible just here. Mining 2 sessions because using two different wallets.

sorry i haven't tested running 2 instances? so can't guarantee it will work... if you really want to tho... (try to download v2.2 twice or copy the whole folder and run say cards 0 1 2 from bat file in first v2.2 folder / and other cards 3 4 5 from another bat file from the other v2.2 folder you copied... don't try run two bat files out of same program/folder....)

i only run 1 per rig...

thank you i'm just giving feedback to improve your nice software
is exactly what i did, i run two sessions from different folders.. btw profitability calculation will takes info from api at miner port 4068.....
in the second session i change the port in miner sp1 file...
but seems to have no effect in miner windows...
maybe port switch is not passed to the miner?
i'm not dev so i can't find where script append switches to miner config
thank you

I am using 64 GB VIrtual Memory and also I havnt gotten that error again, but my rig is freezing and am unable to access it by teamviewer and have to restart the rig. Do you have MSI after burner installed or teamviewer? maybe those are causing conflicting issues? Not sure why it would work for you but not for me with the same GPUS.

Nemo, may I ask if my bat file looks good to you? Yes sir, I understand the directions say to increase VM to 64gb, however that is not an option for me as my SSD hard drive is only 60 GB in size. Since you didn't know that, and I wasn't aware Sib needs it - as you explained, is it possible that I could just remove sib from the algo list? Please note, I have increased the VM on both my rigs as large as I possibly could. When I used custom settings for my VM size, I set it to 6000 MB minimum, and 29000 MB Maximum. I have been using those settings from day 1 and have mined various coins, one at a time, and also used Nicehash miner and now I'm experimenting with your miner.

I was unaware Sib needs that all that space. So if my bat file looks good to you, then I suppose I will have to go without mining Sib coin. What other algo's do you expect me to run into trouble with? Thank you for the information.

Hi Nemo,

Is it possible to manually set a fixed difficulty on a specific algo?

I tried to add a d=.064 into the algo below but it didn't seem to have an effect...the algo still starts at .008

"x17" = " -i 21 d=.064 -d $SelGPUCC" #X17

is there a way to do this?
