zpool shut down their x17 server.  You'll have to remove it from the start.bat

Switch to ahashpool, you will make more revenue, already tested with identical rigs
Posted 24hr actual concur that ahashpool gives you more so why keep using zpool?!?!?!?!?

FARM #1 : 60 GPUs spread across 6 rigs (1080ti/1080/1070ti/1070)
FARM #2 : 72 GPUs spread across 12 rigs (1070ti x 6)
FARM #3 : 16 GPUs spread across 4 rigs (1080ti x 4)

Why did you drop palgin for neoscrypt?  I was getting almost 10% better hash rates with it?

removed Palgin as not ready to be added yet

did manage to get it to work but not up to my standards
it worked well for me but alot of user were reporting issues, i will continue trying and add it to next release if possible
anyhelp with it will be much appreciated more info here  : https://github.com/nemosminer/NemosMiner-v2.4/issues/130

I'm consolidating and finally got all the stuff to put all my cards in one case so I'll play with it a bit this weekend.

Hi Nemos,

I posted this idea a while ago, but I did not see an answer if it was possible.

When switching Algo, there is moment (around 8 second for me) where there is no mining done, GPU utilization is 0 in afterburner (the time the new miner start and connect to the server)

If we would start the new miner first and then 7 or 8 second later close the old miner it should eliminate this lost and make the algo switch even more effective (especially on the non-24h batch file because it change more frequently)

I tried it manually (open new miner wait 8 sec and close the old) and it seem to work the utilization stayed at 100%, I did get an API port error but maybe it can be fix with some modification in the code (I'm no pro for programation). the mining did switch and work fine when I test it on zpool and ahaspool

If it possible, it should make a great gain.

Thank you for this great program.

NemosMiner-v2.4

zpool  hashrefinery  ahashpool  miningpoolhub  nicehash

https://github.com/nemosminer/NemosMiner-v2.4/releases/download/v2.4/NemosMiner-v2.4.zip

tested with 6x 1060 3gb & 6x 1080ti rigs

Monitors mining pools in real-time in order to find the most profitable Algo / Auto Benchmarks Each algo  / Fully automated / Auto Downloads Miners

instructions:

edit startpoolname.bat

1.change BTC address to yours

2.select how many gpu's you have eg: (1gpu dstm 0 cc 0) (2gpu dstm 0 1 cc 0,1) (6gpu dstm 0 1 2 3 4 5 cc 0,1,2,3,4,5)

3.remove any algos you do not want to mine

4.there is a 5minute per day fee (0.3%), that can be disabled by changing -Donate 5 to 0

5.save & run startpoolname.bat

note. instruction number 1 : is different for miningpoolhub, you need to change user name and worker name

If you have Windows 7, please update PowerShell: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=50395

CCMiner may need 'MSVCR120.dll' if you don't already have it: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=40784

CCMiner may need 'VCRUNTIME140.DLL' if you don't already have it: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145

running multiple cards its recommended to increase Virtual Memory 64gb is optimal

Requires nvidia driver newer than 388

-ActiveMinerGainPct (percent of advantage that active miner has over candidates in term of profit (default 3%)

24hr.bats.. eg. startahashpool24hr.bat startzpool24hr.bat.. (uses last 24hour Actual API too request profit)

normal .bats use estimates.. eg. startahashpool.bat startzpool.bat.. (uses current estimate and 24hr estimate API too request profit)

not needed with this version just leave intervals default

if you want less switching increase -ActiveMinerGainPct 3

-ActiveMinerGainPct (percent of advantage that active miner has over candidates in term of profit (default 3%)   this is new to v2.4

What do you think, from your experience in the scenario below OC almost in Stock
Test in 3 GPU GTX 1080 tI
- Power Limit 55%
- Temp. Limit 80
- Core Clock +100
- Memory Clock +200
- Fan Speed 63%

Temperature at this point 56

What can change without affecting the temperature and thinking about energy consumption?

hello ;-)

i started testing this script on one of my 6x1070ti rigs. seems to work quite ok, i had problems with x17 - the miner was unstable, crash on windows which made my rig not to mine anything.

On all other i am using at the moment Equihash Miner Autorun (Watchdog) for Ewbf & Claymore & Dstm & CCminer  by Acrefawn and mine ZCASH constantly.
This script takes care of all the problems like 46 cuda errors, miner crashes etc, it will restart miner app if sees a hang GPU, reboot PC etc.

i look for more profit and this script is ok. I had to disable x17 - gave errors and miner app crash (in windows) with higher clocks - anyone of you have the same?
I have to downclock much for x17 to be stable - all other algos work fine, and zcash was working fine also. Is x17 more mem or gpu dependable ?

What i am missing in the scrypt is what i got in the Acrefawn script - manage and monitor of problems. There is also telegram notifications if the miner is restarted and if there is any error.

I removed tribus, sib and some other algos that dont give high actuals and were popping out.

HOW ABOUT SKEIN? did you guys removed it ? it pops out some time but i can see it's in the very bottom - should i remove it ? (my observation is only for 30-40 hours so maybe just bad luck)

after weekend i will test 2.4 and get back with info

Best regards

hi nemosminers,

Few days ago I reported about my 6 x gtx 1070 rig crashing and not being stable. I then started with adding and testing with 1 gpu, 2 gpu's, 3 gpus and found that as soon as I add a 4th gpu CPU usage increases a lot and having lower hash-rates then with 3 gpus. During benchmarking it will crash. It doesn't matter which of the 3 remaining gpus I add on any remaining pci slot. Result seems same. I'm using a g3900 CPU and 4gb ram. Could this be the bottleneck?

At home i'm running the same motherboard (msi z270 sli plus) with 6 1080ti's with G4400 cpu and 8gb ram now running fine with currently 5 active gpu's. I actually found that on that motherboard 1 pci slot is corrupt. Will test with m2 adapter tonight to see if it will run with 6 Smiley

If your cpu usage is going up, check event viewer system log for PCI-E communication errors, could be a bad riser

Hey millsys, thank you for your reply. I have tested with 3 different gpu's having each their own riser. Chance that all 3 are bad is small but will have a look at it Smiley

Had same issue, ALL RISERS WERE BAD!!!  Seriously, I've RMAd over 18 risers already.   I've had rigs seem stable for 6 cards, then move those same 6 cards into a 12 card setup and the problem rears its ugly head because you now have 12 cards screaming PCI-E errors instead of just 6 and the system starts to grind to a halt.  Replaced risers with new $6 ebay ones and problem disappeared immediately (cpu usage, event viewer errors, stability).  Ebay auction 302483050496 is the only ones I trust now, have ordered over 100 from this source and they have been rock solid.  Cheap too, saved a few bucks sending back overpriced/bad ones to Amazon/NewEgg after replacement.

Hey millsys, all thought Windows didn't show any pci-e errors I found that while I was running with only 3 cards, 1 of the remaining cards that was not running actually felt really hot and when trying to start mining on it would not work. Had to reboot and found that with that specific card cpu usage increased alot. Replaced the riser and cpu usage lowered to just +-12% instead of 60%+. Now running again with 6 cards to see how it goes, dont want to make any conclusions yet but seems those damn riser caused the issues after all... Will keep the CPU and RAM I have ordered for my next RIG I guess Smiley. Thanks again for responding, if it keeps running coming days without crashes will send you some hugs as well Wink
