Something weird is happening... Chinese exchanges are up but stamp and btce are dumping  Grin Grin
Could it be the chinese dumping at other exchanges?  Grin Grin

Why would this have happened today and why would Chinese not sell on their own exchange for the higher price?
I don't know.. maybe because of the coming holiday.. Not much people will catch their dump during that time Cheesy
Maybe there's no one else buying on their exchanges... fake buy and sell orders... LOL!

Chinese playing the trendreversal.avi movie clip on their exchanges then other exchanges follow it.. Then dump to those exchanges... LOL!

I'm wondering how many times the words China and Chinese have been mentioned in this thread.
Might do a script to find this out later.

i guess China manipulate (Chinese exchange with fake volume) as hell to sell high volume at the best price possible ( on western exchange). Once they ssold enought, we will see a very fast and big drop to 300 level on China exchange followed by western. And Chinese coin sold around 450$ on western exchange will buy back in 300's level.

Easy money.

Stop with nonsense about coins moving to western exchanges. Bitcoin transaction volumes are tepid these days.

all as usual:
...only some hesitation / staring at the screen / biting on nails / hoping - until it has got enough attention by the market
until the first start to sell because they can't stand the stress / want to secure in fiat
then it drops because the other sheep follow in panic...

(sell before ist starts to drop  Roll Eyes)

I watched all the news releases before... they used to be impulsive, now they are corrective.
It was around 12 bans ago that we were at 450... here we are again.
a gaming company just bought 40k BTC.... there's your fresh fiat.
The market is preparing for the next key date... 10 may. By the way it is behaving now, Id say it is preparing to reverse by that date, as one would expect.

it looks like you are right, no panic at all...

The most relevant fact to me is that people are being given crypto with monetary value and they aren't the ones paying for it. Human nature is such that we don't tend to value things we don't work for. This is why most lottery winners blow the money in a relatively short period of time and people who spend years saving money do not.

They were given their whole lives on a platter.  You don't get to MIT by earning it.  Whether they value their lives...probably more than they should.

Could this pump have been caused by westerners trading on Huobi, who want to get their money out of the exchange by buying btc and transferring it to Stamp or whatever?

This is something I've been wondering for some time. Even if it is chinese, the logical reaction to a pending ban should be to _buy_ asap and transfer to a safe wallet.

I was thinking the same. The best way to avoid future problems would be to buy bitcoins a get out of the exchange fast.
