Hear, hear. He was not maybe the absolute, end of the game, forever, most genius around, but he certainly was more of a genius than those who did not buy at 10.
I DID buy @ $10. With everything I had. I just didn't have as much to start with. Why didn't you buy a castle yet? Honestly, any castle I could have afforded even when BTC was $1100 would not meet my standards. Real estate is still way overpriced in the U.S. IMHO, and it is usually a cash-flow drain. A depreciating currency should encourage frugality, not Lamborghinis and castles. I still have a lot to learn about responsible capital management, but the necessity of prudent cash flow management should be obvious. EDIT: I should have said deflationary currency. Although BTC has been depreciating lately, this bear market will end eventually. |

Again, no, I never said so If there's anything I value him for, it is his work Won't reply to you anymore btw Also I might add i'm not the type who buy expensive useless shit just cuz i'm insecure I rather buy a watch for 500 dollar(usually looks better and cleaner imo) then one for $10k and give the reamining 9.5, if not to family/friends, then to charitywork or directly donate it I am of the opinion that charing wealth is never wrong |

Anyways back on topic-ish...
Seems we are destined to meander around this price point until another China deadline. Bidsum has reduced 25% in the last couple of days and no real impotus from buyers to raise the price, all action is as you never would have guessed. Following China.
EDIT: Which means probably a mini rally coming up.

To me, promoting castles, lambos and any other bad-taste nouveau-riche ridiculous trophy is just another way of promoting Bitcoin to the average Joe. Reminds me of the last Scorsese movie. It's inelegant I guess, but it works on many people. If Bitcoin is truly the technological and economical revolution we expect it to be, then it will make everyone richer, especially the early adopters including those convinced by a picture of Rpietila smoking cigars. If it's the proper incentive for them, then they will surely be glad in a couple of years that there was someone to produce it. Maybe it's a strategy, or maybe it's just bragging, whatever. It's useful. Also, he made intredasting TAs. Now back to the topic:  |
